  1. If it is calm enough tomorrow, Fisheagle hopes to head out some 11/ 12 miles to find something to put a decent bend in the rod. As always, on Ch 6 and 16. Say hello if you are out.
  2. Happy Birthday Matt. Have a good one.
  3. Thanks Colin. Neap tides so not expecting a lot. Water is still cold, but a few summer species are starting to show. Also to use up some old fuel so I can get some fresh fuel in the tank. Be nice to get out after so long and the temperature could be reasonable. Not sure there will be much of a report from a short inshore trip but one of the things about fishing is you sometimes get a surprise. Have you any plans to come down soon?
  4. After weeks of bad weather and three weeks of Covid, Fisheagle will be venturing out locally in the Bay this Tuesday. Will be on Ch 6 and 16 as always. Need to get the species count up. Say hello if you are out.
  5. Happy Birthday Greg, have a good one.
  6. Happy Birthday Mike. Don't seem to have seen you for ages.
  7. He could be hooked.
  8. Happy Birthday to you both.
  9. Happy Birthday to you both. Have a good one.
  10. Thanks Graham, will be at the Club Meeting on Tuesday.
  11. Hi Graham, give me a ring on 07758356474 and let me know what make of reels you want doing and we can discus things a bit more. Drop off/ pick up can be at the next Club Meeting, my Flat by Poole Park, Cobbs Quay or at a convenient Poole/ Bournmouth/Christchurch Tackle Shop. Depending on where you are in Poole, we may be able to pick up from you. Allan.
  12. Colin, did Yan send you the "Wish you were here" wind up photo of the big cool box wither the fish in It?
  13. A few photos. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  14. Went to the 50's area with Yan and Frank Morris. Arrived around 10 am. And left about 2 pm. Four rays including a 9 lb Small Eyed. Good number of Whiting with the majority of fish between 1.25 lbs and 1.75 lbs. Three over 2 lbs and a single clunker at 3.5 lbs. Other bits and bobs included Dogs and Congers Saw quite a few boats including Bobblin who joined us for a short while. A successful short session. It was nice to be able to see clearly through one eye again. Looking forward to the next one being done. Will try and put up a few photos that Yan took.
  15. Happy Birthday Mike, hope you had a great day.
  16. Fisheagle hopes to get out for a short trip for a few Whiting. There are plenty out there. On Ch 6 and 16 as always.
  17. Thanks Paul, pleased we could help. Any problems, you know where are.
  18. Fisheagle cannot make the 28 th. for the revised Cod/ Whiting Comp. I have been waiting a while now for some laser eye treatment, hence the lack of fishing this year. It scheduled in Bournmouth on Sunday the 28 th. November. Hopefully, I will be able to read the charts on the plotter better. Unfortunately, the fish may look bigger but will still weigh the same.
  19. Have seen the quality of the work done so far. It is first class.
  20. Thanks Jerry, I would not have made it as Ann is positive for Covid on today's PCR Test Results. Although I am still negative. She really isn't well and it is her birthday on Sunday. Mike Hall could well be taking Fisheagle out with a couple of other Club Members. There have been several Cod to almost double figures caught in the Harbour this week.
  21. Ann has just tested positive on a lateral flow test, I seem to be clear. We have just done the more accurate PCR Test, should get the results tomorrow.
  22. Fisheagle hopes to be out, subject to weather.
  23. Plenty of Tope to around 35lbs with a PB to Mike. Several larger fish lost as we weren't really expecting or geared up for them. A few of the initial runs being several hundred yards and then snap offs or bite offs, initally we suspected a small shark till we got one to the boat. A good selection of Rays across two of the three marks fished with six over 14lbs the largest being a Blonde of17 lbs. The usual Congers, dogs etc. plus one solitary Whiting on out third mark near Tom on Illusion. A really calm day with plenty of Winter sunshine. So much for the Winter Species. Mike may put up a few pictures.
  24. Hope to see you down here soon. Need someone to show me where they are.
