    COOL BOX

I think the igloo range are a good compromise between built quality / weight , ability to keep the catch cold and price. Also, with not so chunky build they are smaller than the equivalent icytek! Rob
  4. PJ, I think Graham's would be well above the legal 750kg towing limit for unbraked trailers. Rob
  5. No chance to move the axle forward or is the boat fitting flush at the stern? R
  6. Just ensure that the coupling will fit tight to the bit you leave after cutting!!!! The balance of the trailer will change a bit as you are taking some weight off a long way from the pivot (wheels), so if it is dimly balanced you may upset your rig! Most people want a bigger one, this is a first!!!! Rob
  7. No different to the pair trawlers rounding up 1000's of tons of Bass in the South West Approaches! Balance and future stocks kept in mind! Rob
  8. Really Neal, sure it was the engine making it heavy at the rear!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. Rollox, I wanted them!!!!!! (Joke)

The bit at 2:44 when Adam had a line around his fish and we un-tangle it one handed, shows how often we have fished together!!!!
  14. UK claims fish dumping ban success The UK says it has agreed new laws with the European Union which include banning the dumping of unwanted fish, such as mackerel and herring. Read more: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-22536037

    Bait livewell

From my old post: Jack, I made mine last year, it is the post towards the bottom of this thread: http://www.pbsbac.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=6356&hl= I think the important thing is plenty of fresh water, nice'n'coldwell oxegenated and not too many live baits and no bleeders. I had an un obstructed barrel and I am sure no one told the fish about the ant-clockwise thing - they go up down accross and both ways! I have a 360Rule pump and it only just has enough pressure to lift water in my boat (probably 4ft). I am looking at changing to an Attwood V500 Bilge Pump (has a head of 10m max and at 3.3ft 350gph and 6.6ft 200gph) cost - way under £20. I'll let you know how I get on. http://www.attwoodmarine.com/products/Inst...ies%20Bilge.pdf It draws 1.4amps @ 13.6v so shouldn't worry you on draining the battery too much. Rob

There are barrel building guides on the forum. I did one which was a mod on existing ideas. How many macs, 20 maybe, the colder the water the more you can keep! Rob
  17. Just go with a single battery. Mine is a Varta Semi-Traction, not sure of the size but 60 or 70ah does me ok with VHF, bait pump on all the time (if you have maccy you need it on 100%) and starting etc etc. Rob
