Why did you sell Smal Fry? Was the new Pilot cheaper than what you sold SF for? Rob

Jim, I have just been busy!!!! I am suggesting, Small Flies, KnotOut, GoInNowhere, KnotWet, the rest are too rude to use of the radio! Rob

    Trim Tabs Wanted

Hydraulic? Automatic \ pre-set? There are so many options! How deep are your pockets? I have smart-tabs http://www.nauticusinc.com/index.html They are cheap and excellent - mine are the plastic SX ones and i use the Tolling adapter in reverse to lift them out the water when the boat is 1 launched in <1ft water or beaching. I will be replacing my rams with fully stainless ones when they fail. Rob
  5. Well done, god to blow out the cobwebs no doubt Jim!! Rob
  6. "He said the turbines viewed from Bournemouth would appear about one third the height of a thumb held horizontally." Now I have fat thumbs and that is bu&&er all, you will only see them 5 days of the year.
  7. Confidence Mike confidence! Rob
  8. Friday with no wind was touching 2 knots. Of course if you go over a shallow it speeds up as the water is quashed so it depends!!! Plus tides were getting smaller each day from friday. Rob
  9. Thanks Paul - enjoy! I only go as far as Devon (Dartmouth) with the boat in tow, but you never know! Rob

If you know any ask them for an old copy! It will have all teh info you need for approach Harbour vhf channels ect.. Or try http://sailingalmanac.com/ Just check a chart before steaming in - you never know what might be under the water! Enjoy, Rob

    Happy birthday

    Enjoy Alan!
  17. I guess he hasn't bought Small Fry, because it would be a spud gun!!!!
  18. Jim - why don't you do a swap? You said you want something smaller with a cuddy - maybe Adam fancies a Warrior 165! I'll take 5%! Rob
  19. Yes there is and it is close in - check you charts but you are talking 50yds from the cliff - it can still be a "surf" though there but potentially better than the main reef if you don't like the surf (i took Serenity though there with Boblin following and took a wave over the bow and roof, excellent those MF695's!). You could always drift it for a bass! Rob
  20. Enjoy old bean!
  21. I think Alan acted on the information given and I am not sure "Careful mate live baiting is banned in Christchurch Harbour " is accusing anyone of illegal fishing!
  22. Well done Steve! I hope you flashed it in front of those guys fishing from the break water!!!!
