  3. I think Charlie Chapman can get the kits at a good price - might be wrong!
  4. I have DataTag'ed my setup - there are microchip transponders in the engine, hull and trailer. I think DataTag even equipped the police with the scanners to identify and locate the tags. My Electronics also carry identifying stickers and that liquid dna \ data dots that you mention. All registered with DataTag and if I sell her it is
  5. Put Nigel in Alderney Angling, Mark can open the shop after the pub and double his annual takings!!! We won't tell Sandy, honest!

    Twin Sails bridge

Paul - would that be a boat breaking down under the bridge so it can't close? That would be a shame!
  9. Is the consensus to leave on the Saturday 26th? Rather than the Friday? Why is this? - I need to move my annual leave so guidance is appreciated. Rob

  11. Well done for getting out. It is only 10knots past the chain ferry \ bramble bush bay anyway, even in winter when harbour main channel de-restricted (as long as you don't endanger others or cause a nuisance with your wake etc!!!).

    Antifoul Help

How about copper bot - zinc - cuniguard thingy me bob? Speak to Wedger aka Trevor - he has a mooring on the river and has had Otter Cuniguarded. I believe it is expensive but it is a 10 year system and believe it works out cheaper overall! I think Boblin might have it too! Rob http://www.cuniguard.eu/#/cuniguard/4547800252
  13. Please ensure you stick to the minimum landing size legal regulations for the southern IFCA. For plaice it is 27 cm. http://www.southern-ifca.gov.uk/wp-content...rd-2011_WEB.pdf Rob
  14. Great write up! You might try a bait just off the bottom for tope, it can help keeping the dogfish at bay! Rob
  15. I had them for pike fishing as on the odd occasion I had to remove a treble from a deep hooked pike and these were ace. I started carrying them in my kit since Tony D got a circle hook through his finger and none of his pliers on-board were able to snip the barb off! Now I carry them, I hope I wont need them!
  16. I use Fox ones and they are ace!: Bournemouth Fishing Lodge: http://www.foxint.com/catalogues-products....116&catalogue=3 Think the handles might now be red on the new ones. I have the snips too, which are huge! But of course, being snips they cant be stainless, but mine are 4 yrs old and will see off a 10/0 in a finger or other part no probs! http://www.foxint.com/catalogues-products....118&catalogue=3 Rob
