    Etec issues

Nice easy fix!!! I wasn't sure if it was the tank part or not. I have tried a 3rd party Yamaha one in the past, due to leak - a definate no no (worse leak) - must go original every time! Coudl you use that as an excuse for speeding???

Do you have a pic of the offending part? Do you think it is because you plug and unplug the fuel so often (I assusme you take the tank home each trip) Rob

    6lb 3oz Plaice

I thought my 5-11 was big But he isn't a club member Well done Brian - nice to get a good fish on the deck, no matter who caught it! Rob
  4. Hope you weren't inside the Bass Nursery Area!!
  5. I assume you are recording species as "other" - I expect that does't get displayed automatically as the remarks box is not seen by us mortals. I am sure PD will be along to sort it out!! Rob
  6. Happy Birthday.
  7. Thinking about a trip out sunday - so hoping the wind forecast is wrong !!! Can't go sat so will wait and see! Fingers crossed! Rob
  8. Adam - there's room for Rach, Charlie won't mind!
  9. That boat has been down a while - at least since the Open.
  10. Stealing electronics and other items maybe?
  11. Craig - break it to her gently but these are not all club records - this list isn't finished - it only shows the best fish recorded by the online fish recording system. Not including pre October 2006 catches. But we can all bask in a little glory until PD sorts it out!!!
  12. Pleased to advise we had our mention in the local Echo paper - for those of you that didn't see it: http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/mor...p_bass_returns/
  13. You've changed it - I am sure that wasn't there earlier!!! Maybe my Firefox on home lappy is out of date.
  14. 40lb Cod - missed that post - were there any pictures? Or was it a conger? I am guessing that Paul D could manually enter the old records in to the database with the year caught and that woudl mean it was always uptodate - assuming teh entries are verified and monitored. Rob
  15. My big weymouth plaice is on there - but is not a club record. Also, nothing after S - no tope \ wrasse etc. Rob
  16. Charlie - I was posting whilst Adam was - so I hadn't seen his correction! I am just a bit ocd so put them in order!!! (I think "Bass Returned if different from above:" is not correct as Charlie A's fish should be on both lists) Rob
  17. I'm confused! Shouldn't it be: Best fish caught: 1 Charlie Annear 8-6 2 Rob Francis 7-0 3 Charlie C 5-0 4 Will S 4-8 5 Stuart S 4-0 Best Fish Returned: 1 Charlie Annear 8-6 2 Will S 4-8 3 Stuart S 4-0 4 Charlie C 3-0 5 Rob Francis 1-6

  19. Yes Alun - once a teacher always a teacher!!! Thanks.
  20. Thanks to you Paul - it was your phone call presence I'm sure!!!
  21. We had a cracker on JoJo today - we were up earlier than the tide! Doh! We were at teh slip approx 7:20 and there was not much water - a little wait and a wander and some photography and the water made an apperance! Charlie A got some good pics of the rocks that are marked with a red buoy in the way in to Mudeford - quite scary but good to meet them first hand in waders rather the being introduced to them via my prop!!!! No wonder AJ always says to me stick to the fishign boats on your way out! Well we gathered bait quickly and started fishing - no more than 30 seconds and BANG - big fish on a very very light spinning rod - I felt under gunned! First bass of the day 7lb exactly to me! Through out the day we caught fish of varying sizes - my biggest weighed release was 1lb 6oz (should have weighed the released fish earlier)! Charlie had a keeper of 3lb 6oz. After lunch we restocked with bait fish and and after another drift I suggested deeper water I had a call from Paul Jennings and off went a bait runner - I am sure it had smoke coming from it like in Jaws!!! Anyway - Charlie lifted in to a solid fish and it gave a cracking pull back - I had to let Paul go and get down to the business of bringing in lines and helping as the fish moved deepely round the boat. Up came a beautiful bar of silver - 8lb 6oz of angry and perfect Bass - and the best bit is we had the pleasure of admiring her for 15 mins whilst she recoverd and then swam away in to the depths! So we had a good 7+ fish and probably the same number of missed runs. We packed up as the tide started to change and push our drift back to front at 14:30. A great day with some nice fish. Question is - should I lend Charlie a rod again or keep them all to myself? I am sure Charlie will add some pics. Rob Result: 7lb 0oz - Rob Francis 1lb 60z - Rob Francis - RELEASED 3lb 6oz - Charlie Annear 8lb 6oz - Charlie Annear - RELEASED
