Best thing you can do is email the Chairman - PaulJ and \ or come to our club meeting a week on Thursday at Parkstoen Trade a Labour club.
Or ask anything you like on this forum - you are bound to get a response.
No - you do not need a boat to join. There will be plenty of oppourtunities to crew and then decide what you want to buy!
Welcome.

Trev,
If you calculate the standard 3 blade prop you would neeed, could the DuoProp dealer advise you of the "equivilant" Duo?

Much would depend on what you are launching and how!
Generally it is not deep enough to lauch by car without getting it wet at any state of the tide.
A hand launch and recover with a rope is often a good way to do it.
If you boat is small enough to launch and recover by hand then anything but the lowest part of the tide is ok.
So there is not really a best state of the tide to launch but more a state of busyness!
Mid to late morning on a weekend with great weather is a nightmare. So early doors is the way to go if you can and it's busy - but everyone comes in between 16:00 and 18:00!

"Name a wreck and PM me your numbers"!!!! We know what you are up to Tom and it is a clever idea.
If anyone else wants numbers verified - please PM them to me!!!!
Are there not a huge amount of wrecks @ 35 miles out? The only way you will find out is to tail Quest II and \ or put a tracking device on Tom, good luck!!!
Beam trawler crew have seen the error of their ways and for being @#$&heads and wrecking the sea floor, and they stopped to apologise to the charter boat. Any are offering to scarifice themselves to the sea!
- Other than that I go with Charlie A's guess!!!!
