Paul, Thanks for the offer but it is done, me too waiting! Unfortunatley no local Chandlerys have the Navionics charts in stock so I am waiting for the to arrive. Mid you I have been pike fishing, lost a good fish on a dead bait, below where we went plugging. At least it woke me up for a bit!! Rob

    Birthday...

    Happy Birthday Paul. Enjoy. Rob
  8. Very nice Paul - I'm still wondering whether it is worth the trade off of post Xmas shopping!! Rob
  9. Better luck next time Charlie, Nice mild day to be out though, I was amazed how warm (in relation to time of year) it was. Rob
  10. I had no takes for a trip today (not suprised as it was a late decision to go). However, with no crew I decided to go Pike fishing, I had one bite in the hour and a half I spent fishing and I lost it! I am sure it was a double figure fish so I will be back to heave it out soon (maybe not tomorrow but soon!). Happy Christmas all. Rob
  11. Well done Alun, sounds like you had a good day. I'm sure your making the most of that hamper! I put my winner back at Baiter, gave it instructions to find you but it obviously didn't listen! Perhaps didn't fancy it's chances of freedom with you having a boat called Gastronaught! Rob

    Lowrance LMS-520C

Thanks for your in put guys - Navionics it is I think. Rob
  13. Just wondering if anyone is going out tomorrow? I am thinking of whether to got out or not? Availble to crew also. Thanks Rob
  14. Having won a Lowrance LMS-520C in the PBSBAC open last weekend I am now at the point of fitting it. Please can anyone advise if I am correct in thinking that I need to buy charts? If so which are the best ones? The Lowrance website suggests the following are available: Optional MapCreate
  15. The raffle was a fix,
  16. Those weights Indespension must be trailer capacity. This site suggests their Pneumatic JWheel can take 75kg nose weight: http://www.autow.co.uk Have a chat with Paul J, I think his trailer is too big!! Rob
  17. Nose weight depends on your towing vehicle! Nearer to its limit the better. Mine is set to 60\70kg ish as at 90kg (my cars limit) is SO heavy. Can you shuffle ST back on the bunks and move the winch post back? I know you can't move the wheels easily because of the bow in the trailer. Could you get round this some how? I'm sure if we put our heads together and have a few beers we could come up with a plan! Rob
  18. Charlie, You can't blame this one on me! Or maybe this is karma for stealing the charger from my new drill! Perhaps the gear selector under the cowling is not working correctly. Check the linkage is working smoothly and correctly. There is no such "clutch" but they straight cut gear just "pop" in gear and out. That is why they often are more noise going in to reverse than forward (shape of the teeth I think). Rob
  19. Charlie, Get the pneumatic one, they don't stop on small stones or gravel like the hard ones. I know you have a lot of weight on the nose of your trailer so maybe it would be worth finding out how much weight they can take! Also, get a hitch stand for ST when on the drive to take the weight off the J Wheel. Rob
  20. Paul - are you saying I'm wasting my time trying to keep this one alive in the garage!
  21. Charlie, Take enough bacon for 4 as I have no cooker!!!!! See you later for a few social beverages. Rob
  22. I am sure PJ will have plenty of copies at Baiter. Rob
  23. Myself and Paul Rowcliffe will be on JoJo. See you all tomorrow night! Rob
  24. Jack, I have the Sony DSC-W55 and the waterproof case Sony SPK-WA. Bloody brilliant. I found the tough cameras all had a compromise on some features, weatehr it be small lens, no AF Assist etc so I went for the W55 as the case is
  25. Thanks guys. Off to Charminster for a bite to eat and a couple of pints this evening. Rob Paul - 7:15 sounds good.
