  1. With the forecast breeze from the SW - i think we could restrict Durlston to B'mth Pier - if there is a restriction on the comp. Swanage bay \ Ballard are looking favourite at the moment. Are the rules able to be amended to take in to consideration this natural shelter? The powerboat racing is not this weekend 1st Sept to 4th so will not co-inside with the Junior comp, as far as i can tell. Rob
  2. Any part number etc on em Jim?
  3. For a friend - does anyone have a yamaha throttle control and cables of about 2.6m? Rob
  4. i think he means anchor!
  5. Sam, We have and had members all over the UK - the Club promotes safe boating and angling techniques. The area of our "waters" is St Catherine's to Portland Bill and south to northern France. Here we can fish comps, fish of the month prizes etc. Outside of this area the only comp that counts in the boat species hunt. This doesn't stop many members fishing outside of the "waters" and shared knowledge often can be used anywhere. A number of trailer boats fish weymouth or larger boats travel round the corner or spend a night over that way. Jump in and fill your boots! Rob
  6. Enjoy!
  7. Pass the numbers over then, I'll have a go! Yes, I had one twice spend a minute or so trying to eat my float - shame it didn't look a little lower and find the 12/0! it did smile for the camera though:
  8. Gentleman - be a first in this club!

Welcome! Although the lady thing we need is another mid week angler to annoy us working lot!!!!! Alderley ring deployment is just make sure it is clipped on when you drop the hook over. That's about it. You can of course head up the bow and retrospectively clip it on should you forget. Rob

  17. Superb! Nice one Jim, you'll be inundated with offer to crew, well your drone will be!!! Martin, boat looks great, but low in the stern though! Charlie, I hope to get the breakdown tomorrow. Rob
  18. I will request the points breakdown / positions. SeaWolf won, Feisty 3rd, kingfisher did alright too. Tony got a pink rod (fishing) as wooden spoon for he efforts at skippering. But he kept Charlie A and his sons happy and safe plus some fish! so far from a poor performance if you ask me!
  19. Has anyone seen Garmin Panopix, amazing! Chirp looks good!
  20. Your boat has stumped Adam, doesn't happen often! Can you change your insurance company? Perhaps try using a broker. A One Insurance Group have been good for me as I have unique requirements.
  21. Yes, do join and get to see the "Club Only" side of the forum! (I no longer use the term "Members Section") If you want to or are thinking of joining come along to our meeting this Thursday in Parkstone Trades and Labour Club, 19:30 for 20:00. We have our Open competition on Saturday, booking in at Cobbs weigh-in \ photo-in and prize giving there too. The more you put in, the more you will get out (leave it Jim!). Rob
  22. you need AdamF - proper boat spud! I have sent him the pic.
  23. Edge is crap. If you have windows 10 Internet Explorer is usually installed to.
  24. All, Due to a poster malfunction, although the rules advise £10 on the day to enter this is NO longer the case. It is £7.50 per person to enter both comps in one, whether purchased in advance or on the day. Sorry for any confusion. Rob Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
