Plus tips on making footage are prob more important before you go Charlie. Key thing is try and make slow if moving \ rotating, steady lengthy shots. nothing worse than having loads of 10 second shots to stitch together. R

Only works from a PC - some copyright thing for the music or something, no phones \ tablets. R
  4. Is there a difference where Graham & Gaffa are using petrol as opposed to diesel?
  5. i see it looses 5% of your fuel capacity so fairly insignificant - you have baffles built in to the new tanks you propose to have made. At £100 per block and you might need say 7 (guess 200 lite tank) - that is a lot of cash, where in built baffles seem ok for the majority! They seem to use\d this on F1 fuel cells, sorry, to advise but the Pirate ain't an F1 car or P1 offshore racer (well not quite anyway)! R
  6. He has a Pirate 21, a laser and a Wilson Flyer. And he is happy his sold his little RIB recently too!!!
  7. Does this mean you will only have your junior fishing on JV next comp? Hardly sporting!!!!!! #thereisplentyofroom
  8. That's a long selfie stick you av there Jim!
  9. My thoughts too Brian, as any engine running time would negate any drain and top up the battery. The numbers are copied from a generic boat, possibly sailboat. Plus having 2 batteries where you can emergency parallel should you flat your starter battery is a good get out of jail card. I have just added a second battery, but for specific reasons have not split them as starter and auxiliary (1, 2 or 1+2). Which is fine having had a single one for 10 yrs and I have the ability to manually start the Yamaha.
  10. One for sale in Hayling :
  11. That's the plan Sam, they can fish alongside at the quay!
  12. Do we have to be within a mile of you greg? Or does that not count in the harbour?
  13. Happiness for all is impossible Sam, just keep the wife happy(ish) & sod the rest of em!
  14. Comps are more trouble than they are worth! I know to stay away. R
  15. Charlie, Jack is not listed above. Sam did put his name down before the cut off date in July so should be OK - (rule 17 4b, annex 12, part 3 revision 2). Rob
  16. ^doubt they are "stories"!!!
  17. On the powerboat website the dates are as stated - 1st>4th http://www.p1superstock.co.uk/Race-info/Bournemouth/2016/71607 http://cowestorquaycowes.co.uk/ http://www.letsgoout-bournemouthandpoole.co.uk/main-events/bournemouth/powerboat-p1-aqua-x-jetski-championships/ Plus in the info Oli posted - i think he started the rumor it was this weekend. R
  18. With the forecast breeze from the SW - i think we could restrict Durlston to B'mth Pier - if there is a restriction on the comp. Swanage bay \ Ballard are looking favourite at the moment. Are the rules able to be amended to take in to consideration this natural shelter? The powerboat racing is not this weekend 1st Sept to 4th so will not co-inside with the Junior comp, as far as i can tell. Rob
  19. Any part number etc on em Jim?
  20. For a friend - does anyone have a yamaha throttle control and cables of about 2.6m? Rob
  21. i think he means anchor!
  22. Sam, We have and had members all over the UK - the Club promotes safe boating and angling techniques. The area of our "waters" is St Catherine's to Portland Bill and south to northern France. Here we can fish comps, fish of the month prizes etc. Outside of this area the only comp that counts in the boat species hunt. This doesn't stop many members fishing outside of the "waters" and shared knowledge often can be used anywhere. A number of trailer boats fish weymouth or larger boats travel round the corner or spend a night over that way. Jump in and fill your boots! Rob
  23. Enjoy!
  24. Pass the numbers over then, I'll have a go! Yes, I had one twice spend a minute or so trying to eat my float - shame it didn't look a little lower and find the 12/0! it did smile for the camera though:
  25. Gentleman - be a first in this club!
