  1. What is this obsession of needing bigger boats? Size doesn't matter, or so I am regularly told! With a tiddler you can be towed about tiring the fish, bit like the yellow barrels in that film!!!
  2. I think you are thinking of this Paul: http://jetskibrian.com/2012/08/17/fishing-radio-and-animal-planet/brian-jet-ski-at-dock-2/
  3. Tow bar?
  4. I don't think arrived and don't think if will Graham!! Shame as the forecast seems to have got it wrong today. Just seen AJ and he was heading out for the afternoon. Rob
  5. Shark! Go on Nige, you know you want to! We need a proper shark to be caught in club waters!! Rob

PaulF has a unit unbelievable that can send the image to his iPhone, so that can be the repeater from the bow - bit sure of brand! Sounders and plotters and a dark would of expense and entrapment, brilliant! Rob

Graham, expensive unit to look at the mud! Pete - get a cheap \ second hand repeater plotter for the deck - you jet need an Ethernet & network cable for the lowrance if you have a sounder box \ brain. I do this on my boat, for redundancy as the units are only a foot from each other. Rob
  10. Try not to kick it Brian!

  15. In poole harbour too I believe! "Codling" not lunkers!
  16. Councils: short sighted and don't see the bigger picture beyond their own self importance! Yes I'm generalising and I realise there are those who have the good of the people and community in their sights. Though do they lack the skills to help, maybe!
  17. Enjoy old bean!
  18. Certainly is good if you have crew - they can tackle up, make a brew & wash the boat down in this time!!
  19. Be careful there is a max amount of petrol you can keep at home (esp with no boat there). 2x10litres in metal or 2x5 litres in plastic!!! Rob
  20. Yep, a few thousand balls is the answer!! The foam needs to be hydrophobic but I guess you also need not to restrict it as it might not hold enough bubbles/air. Also, foam is permanent and potentially messy, the balls are simple! Rob
  21. I thought the crew must have been kneeling!
  22. Well done grandad!!!
  23. They have found his body now: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-dorset-24407120
