  2. About 5 years ago A mile east of Ballard Late summer Caught a blue buoy travelling north at 6 knots, probably a set of pots or a net. Managed to capture this on the boat. It managed to pull the boat backwards, at 4 knots until the handle on the buoy broke. 3 ton boat, 9 foot transom, 4 knots, backwards, some power!!! Tony
  3. Try red rocket fuel on the bearings and a piece of innertube to hold the spool like the beach casters. I am using this setup with my sons uptidet now arthritis has set in Tony

Serenity Ray Competition Results - Saturday- Neal, Stuie, Tony Stuie Cooper Blonde Ray 23lbs Undulate Ray 16lb 4oz Blonde Ray 4lb Tony Deavin Blond Ray 13lb 8oz Undulate Ray 9lb 14oz A slow day with little on the ebb, improved on the rise, but not a lot. Stuie showed us how to do it at the end of the day. Plagued by lots of strap conger but little else. Pictures to follow.

You will notice it is much more civilised than trying to launch at Baiter. Tony

Hi Are you looking to navigate with an iPad Not sure how this would manage a long passage I use my navionics plotter around Poole arbour if driving MVS boats but it will switch off after s time It may be worth going out we with someone with installed kit for s comparison Happy to help if you share fuel eyc.   19. Welcome to the club Ray I used to have a 16 ft Mayland, nice little boat, which I used to launch at Cobbs Quay. Come to a club meeting at Parkstone Trades and Labour Club, Ashley Road, and meet the guys. There is a lot of knowledge there you can tap into about the club, fishing, boat handling and safety,. Meetings are 7:30 for 8pm on the first Thursday of the month. See you there Tony
