    Also worth checking the main power cable (red) for corrosion often gets a lot of internal corrosion turning the wire into blue powder Tony

    I have an MF695 and use the transducer inside the boat it is bedded in good quality silicone on the port side behind the water bag this seems to work well give me a call Mick if you want to come and look at it Tony
