  1. If your'e struggling for a freebe then I'll get you one from work on staff hire? The real problem is moving them around unless youve got a decent sized trailer.
  2. I'll pop it in the diary, may well cruise down with Martin and Tony. How many days are you chaps going for? What do I need to do to book in and arrange berths etc? Adam
  3. Best of luck mate - hope it get sorted fully, and once and for all - as I'm sure you do. Keep us posted!
  4. Lemon, Please take this as intended.... which is friendly advice Join the club mate, and get along to a few meetings and chat with us, come fishing with us and get involved. Ive been reading your questions both on here and World Sea Fishing.com - your enthusiam is to be admired, but people will only give so much info to a 'stranger' on the internet! Look forward to seeing you soon! Adam
  5. I know!! Now... what discount do I get?
  6. I'd use a 25l fish food bucket, about 4 times the volume of a black builders bucket. The pump circulates the water and makes maximum use of the oxygen present. It will get used by the macky though, hence the need to change it every 20/30 mins. It's not ideal, but in a small rib it's adequate.
  7. Good news - well done Paul. Incidently, talking of transporting fuel, saw these the other day - they look a great idea! http://www.reedsonline.com/news/2008/07/du...x--flo-n-go.htm I think I'll be getting one. Makes taking fuel to the boat safe and easy.
  8. I'd go for a bucket and one of these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...alenotsupported Just be sure to change the water in the bucket every 30 mins or so to keep the temp down. A course anglers keepnet is another idea, but you'll need to bring it in when you move and the wash from the boat will kill the fish and the keepnet. HTH Adam
  9. As per Martin, not really bothered about the conger. Wouldnt mind having a go at the bream for a change this year. On mark's site he had a cracking pair of huge Couch's last week. Would make a nice change. Also - if we go for 4 days, and we get the weather I'd like to raft up a few boats and have a BBQ one eve? Adam

Will he take my dead SLO3H home and fix fit and then post it back??
  11. Looks worth a watch - just looks a little 'Americanised'....
  12. .... also ( you can tell it's winter!) I'll be looking to run over for the 48hr comp too, weather dependant.
  13. Current List of interested boats: 1 - Joint Venture + 3 2 - Alfresco + 3/4 3 - AWOL + 2/3 4 - Phaeton + 2 5 - Hydaway + 2/3 6 - Just Purfik + 3 7 - Quest II + 2/3 8 - Abode II + 2/3 9 - Court Jester + 3/4 10 - Marsel II + 2/3 11 - Wight Magic + 2/3 Looks like quite a trip! Real shame the Armoury isnt running as with this many we could have booked the lot.
  14. Martin is correct, you'll need to jerry can it from the local petrol station. TBH it's going to be possible but hard work... it's not going to be the odd 25 ltrs is it? After a run across the channel and a day's fishing I'd gues you'll need at least 100 ltrs. That has to be carried, taxi, and then transported back across the harbour and decanted on the water. Needs some thought - as said, Mark will offer advice - he runs petrol in his Raider. Alternative is Guernsey, as they have Petrol in the marina, but as stated it's further on still. People also need to start thinking of accomidation as Mark can only take 5.
  15. Your about a week too late for me mate. I'd have loved to have joined you, but now have appointments I cant move - bugger! Hope you get it sorted.
  16. Sat 10th - well spotted. I'll get PD to attach a file for download.

It's that time of year again! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/sussex/7837365.stm Looks like it's going east though...
  20. The parts are mostly springs, washers and clips. I'll ring diawa direct and see what the cost will be. If not it's a new TLD15. Ta
  21. Ive got a very sad / poorly Diawa that has been sat here for about 2 years. I finally dragged it out this evening and checked the parts of against the schematic only to find that I need 29 spare parts. 1 - Anyone advise where to get them? 2 - I'd rather just sent it away to be fixed - any ideas? 3 - Am I best just to chuck it and buy new - given that a new one is about 70 quid? Adam
  22. Long shot - anyone got or knows anyone who has got a circa 2.4m (8') inflatable dinghy? For the amount it will be used, I dont want to buy new? Thanks Adam
  23. But where does 50 put you on the scale?....
  24. Really? That is the same price as Salterns in that case - I thought Corals were meant to be cheaper? I got a PM this morning says Corals were 64p??
  25. You are pardoned..... However that is true......
