maybe some sort of algal bloom? I've seen patches of it before whilst out and about

this concern for conservation and sustainable fishing is surely a great advert for the club, however part of me is thinking this initially would be best of discussed in one if the private areas of the forum? the anti angling brigade would love to be reading this kind of stuff and also the commercials subject to regulations

looked at xc again and the window has all but gone don't know why I check so much - just like some time on the boat after a hard week at work!

metcheck has it ok all weekend not inclined to believe it though

might be a bit wet but xc giving me hopes of getting out monday, would like to have a go for bass but with a back up of mullet in the harbour!

I hope to be kicking around somewhere in the bay saturday, prob southbourne rough and/or xray.

I only take what i want for the pot and return other fish, another point here should be the treatment of fish caught to increase the chance of survival when returned , I use circle hooks to try and ensure lip hooking, makes it easier to unhook try not to touch the fish too much and make sure my hands are wet. i also try not to have the fish flapping on the deck and just shake off over the side where possible. maybe barbless hooks would be another option?

what did they say re the warranty?

is it just 1 for bait craig? I'll see whats in tomorrow but should have one foc you can collect from romsey if you don't mind a few scratches etc

i have read it suggested (on wsf) that raiders are best driven fast as it helps create a cushion of air under th gul wing, not tried this in my 18 yet - the weather has been too good and its always been flat calm

2 plaice to me aboard r2d2, biggest was 1lb 9ozs, the second a bit smaller, lovely day drifting in the sun.
