    For Adam

Saw a travel guide last year, many homes now double up as restauarant accepting American dollar catering for the tourists.
  3. The Yankee set up is very well made, and the ease of use (clip on to the rope at any time) is just brill. I bet it cos a few bobs to developed, so they have to make their money somehow.
  4. I did mine with an old chappie near Swayling in Soton, 65 aquids all in and he threw in a couple of tea and biscuit breaks, it was a one to one too.
  5. I think BFM did a feature on them a couple of issue back, looks promising for smaller species.
  6. You have to change the time yourself. Since I am a lazy arse, I didn't bother last Oct (so I was always 1 hr out) but which mean I'm ok now

    Boat Jumble

That should be interesting..... sure I can find a few items you would like....
  8. I use the coat hanger stopper, easy to use.

I'm in Hong Kong at the moment, when I get back I'll have to sell mine before I can get a new one.
  10. They open on sunday, but not until 8:00-9:00, nothing like your Weymouth boys who opens at 7:00.
  11. Told ya, nothing wrong with s-ing and p-ing over the gunnel..... None of the options sound promising. Do you really need the anode, isn't bronze sort of metal you don't need anode? (or is it brass?)
  12. Because they didn't sell it to you..... Seriouly, the only problem I can see is the clip snap which might open at the wrong moment, a D link is probably better.
  13. I might be miles off track, but why would a grp hull need an anode? I haven't taken much notices of other people's boat, but mine has only an anode on the outboard.
  14. Cool design, you can put the ring in anytime, which is unlike mine, it has to be in with the rope from the start.
  15. Gordon, you forgot to drill holes for drainage.....

Yes, very little use during the last year....
  17. Wqw, a lot of work....
  18. Flybe has daily flight to Glasgow International at about a tenner plus tax one way if booked really really really early.
  19. The still remember the scene in Jaw which the shark started to gobble up the boat....
  20. Adam, we used John Keggie's boat Oberon, he's got a even bigger cat now Oberon 2. 4 of us fished with 2 rods each on the old boat, so the bigger cat can even fish more if number is more. He is base just outside Oban, their's a b&b on 25 per night off peak. There's a restuarant and a bar. Oban is only five minutes away in a car, there's even a whisky factory which does taste and guide Oban is only about 1 1/2 hour from glasgow airport, brealth taking scenry specially in the morning.
  21. This side of the IOW shaould be pretty well sheltered on a SW. Plaice have been caught close to shore.
  22. Room is not a prob, plenty of space to run, but in a boat, vert tight, everywhere is within hand reach.....
  23. He only said 2 maydays.....
  24. At 18-22 knots, winds from any direction is gonna be bad
