  1. Cheap is relative !!
  2. Don't know yet, they've reserved me one down the Cheap end,
  3. I'll be moving in after the end of the month. Got to bring MegaByte home and antifoul first.
  4. I've done the deed, got a berth on F pontoon. I've been dry stored at Rockley, but want the option of going out in the evening at short notice.
  5. Thanks Kev. I'll mention your name.
  6. Too late, already thought about that, also bribed Diane with the offer of food there.
  7. Thanks Mick
  8. Thinking about putting on F pontoon at Cobbs, hopefully get more use out it.
  9. As Dave (Coddy) said, if you're not going to be trailing the boat and provided it's not too from where it is to Rockley, I'd take the chance and tow it there without brakes. Then probably sell the trailer.
  10. What antifoul do you use?
  11. Mike. The 750 kg = Gross weight. I can't believe the total weight of the Trailer + Boat + Engine is less than 750 kg.
  12. Hi Mike Mick Holmwood, (webname "2006holmwood"), had an Explorer Elite until recently.
  13. Hi Bob I see you're in Lytchett Matravers, I've received Joining and Membership payment from someone at Loop View, but no name, is that you?
  14. In theory if you hit something with a stainless prop the bush should fail, which is replaceable.
  15. Hi Bob, welcome to the forum, hope to see you at the meetings. If you want some info on the club, send me an email and I'll send you some. Regards Brian brunyard@hotmail.com

I'm not sure Ray has actually been on the website yet. He's been emailing me and I've posted for him. He is coming on Thursday, so the website tutorial should change things.
  19. 900 berths? That's 50 more than Cobbs Quay, they'd have to be very small berths.

  21. I'll shortly be collecting some more copies of "Identification Guide to the Inshore Fish of the British Isles", by Dr Peter Henderson. (Peter is giving us a talk at the September meeting). These books retail at £25, we're selling them for £20 to club members. If you'd like a copy please let me know. I'll bring a few to the August meeting.
  22. Paddy took two stuffed dogs to the Antiques Roadshow in Dublin. “Ooh”, said the presenter enthusiastically, “This is a very rare set produced by the celebrated Johns Brothers taxidermists who operated in London at the turn of the last century. Do you have any idea what they would fetch if they were in good condition?” “Sticks,” said Paddy!
  23. One afternoon a lawyer was riding in his limousine when he saw two men along the roadside eating grass. Disturbed, he ordered his driver to stop and he got out to investigate. He asked one man, "Why are you eating grass ?" "We don't have any money for food," the poor man replied. "We have to eat grass." "Well, then, you can come with me to my house and I'll feed you," the lawyer said. "But sir, I have a wife and two children with me. They are over there eating grass under that tree." "Bring them along," the lawyer replied. Turning to the second poor man he stated, "You may come with us, also." The other man, in a pitiful voice, then said, "But sir, I also have a wife and six children with me!" "Bring them all as well," the lawyer answered. They all entered the car, which was no easy task, even for a car as large as the limousine. Once under way, one of the poor fellows turned to the lawyer and said, "Sir, you are too kind. Thank you for taking all of us with you." The lawyer replied, "Glad to do it. You'll really love my place. The grass is almost a foot high." Come on . . . did you really think there was such a thing as a heart-warming lawyer story? Look at Congress -- over 300 Lawyers!!!
