Hi if you cant get it welded try plastic metal in a tube I had a problem with boilers heat exchanger halstead wanted 360 pound and the old lady had no money so i cleaned it up put on the plastic metal let it dry went at the end of the day pressured the system and it still working three year on mw

I looked into these last year as my rib took on lot of water when on its river mooring not any good if they are under the water line I have 50mm scuppers under the water line with flat hose on them but I would seal them up if i could just fit a good auto pump mw
