we carry all the usual gadgets T bars, long t bars for things with teeth, and Gemini ones for smaller species. while they are fine for a lot of catch and release, I also have one, that is like a big version on a fresh water anglers disgorger. it is made of flat stainless instead of bent bar and has a notch in the end so that a hook can be pushed down into the fishes throat, before being extracted. Anything more awkward than that and we cut the line as close as possible to the hook. Stuie I am afraid Twizzler sticks are fine for retained fish, but not if they are going back. even with thin small hooks the fish would be damaged.

The power is as you say greater, as is the range because of the increased power and height of the Ariel.

A few well stocked and protected areas may well be one of the best ways to protect a small piece of our fish stocks. I have not looked into this too closely, but agree that RSA's are being short sighted if they stand against this just on principle. Charlie

Hi Allan you do not need to take the set home for any inputing/saving of info, just the SD card. That said it is sensible to take time when considering where you put these things and what size to buy, you need to get a good view of them while still being able to adjust and operate them when under way. [Oh and of course you need to see past them to where you are going.] I would far rather be able to adjust settings than just have everything running in auto mode

Sounds better, with the offer of a re pitching option at least you get a bit of room for error. The trials should be done with the boat loaded to normal, tanks full and some no of persons onboard. If you need an extra man for a sea trial Sam or I may be available The prop suppliers really should know the differance needed to get what you want from the prop change, I always thought that it is the initial prop choice of a bespoke boat that was difficult.
