In my experiance it is never worth trying to cover anything up, it just bites you harder in the arse later. With my staff I have a policy that if they cock up, they own up, and then we make a plan to put things right. 1st thing on the list would be contact the owner. Glad the result was good, but its a great shame that your old boat was wrecked. Charlie

Well not many of us are perfect. Hands up who have forgot their own bungs? But this one is terrible example of customer care But sometimes Marina Managers take photo's of customers getting it wrong. [i still have it Charlie LOL]

Both my Lowrance and my new Garmin sets do not seem to need any anti glare screens, and my wheelhouse has plenty of windows and light. But I do have a screen on my touch screen phone, as protection against scratching. -

Have struggled for days trying to get post replies to go on, I think this one will Paul Is it possible to put an idiots guide [For me] to a few pointers for using the New one on the home page please. also the minutes of the Feb meeting I posted on here, make it look like the page width is set very narrow, or margins to wide. {they view better on the old forum]

Because of the way I use my current sets, by stabalising my hand on the side and pushing buttons with my thumb that is what I recomend. Although teh touch screens looked great at the show , using them at sea may be a bit hit and miss Just my opinion , I have never used one Charlie
