great white

Nice one Trevor Now you have to decide wether to eat it or use it for bait. How did the engine go? and tell the missus the pennant really looks good Charlie

Great fish Alan and the same size as last seasons biggest recorded Bass with the Club But there is a lot of time left to beat this one Charlie

Thanks Paul Dan enjoyed his afternoon trip and it was great to see you win the comp with such a good fish Charlie

Nice pictures Love the one in the sea with the eel Charlie

Nice one James as I said when you reported in, well worth all the effort Just shows that you do not have to fish 48hrs to win though. Paul phoned me on Friday while It was still light to say he had the winning fish and he was right Charlie

Please send catch report or PM me Charlie

Wel done I await catch reports Charlie

The tides have been chosen to allow a lot of scope on a comp with a variety of fishing available I wish I had time to fish If I was going out even for a short trip I would pay the entry money just in case. any of the areas you mention will provide good specimens, and have provided a few Club records so the good fish are not all in Alderney. Give the comp a go Mike, if you win it will make good story material Tight lines Charlie

Hi Guys First let me apologise for missing this post as it developed. I have just called the NFSA and guided around their site to the current Specimen list Another apology I was unaware that the list had been updated in Dec 2005. Our area is area D and as far as I can see the only changes are: Bream Gilthead is 2lb Gurnard Red is 1.25 lb Mullet Thin Lipped is 3.5 Lb We will be fishing to the Current NFSA sizes to all competitions including the one starting in 2 1/2 hours time. Paul can you please update the forum. Back to Plan A Duncan Paul can you update the website please Adam Bob if this has made you size calculator defective sorry if you need a hand on Sunday call and I will attend the Mariner. Tight lines all Charlie

Happy Birthday Trevor I hope you had a good one, glad to see the boats about ready. have many tight lines mate Charlei

Hi Guys Tight lines for the weekend Can I remind you that it is the first of the four comps that count towards the BFM/Suzuki competition. I hope you get among the fish Charlie

I must say that it seems to be very quiet about this comp this year come on guys do not be shy, give Adam and Bob a chance and a bit of warning. Charlie

I have some of those at work and I know they have to be torqued up I have some boxed ones, would you call me if you need more information from the instructions Charlie

I good post and within 3 replies its gone off on a tangent already If good fish are caught and you want them in the book please also let me know. Its Boab and Adam for the comp and me for the book and records I am sure I will get full reselts off of the sub committee but no harm in being sure Tight lines on what is my favorite comp Charlie

Bit early for my boat to join the fun like we did last time But I may take you up on the offer later in the year Sam get back to your studies boy. Charlie

I was trying to find the photo of all the boats lined up last year but it seems to have gone missing from the file. If anyone has it please send me a copy by email, and post one charlie

I hope that the weather clears up for you Martin You will need to get a differant anchor to swing on this year but I hope the day is as good as the last one Charlie

Ok not sure what is going on myself now better call is postponed to a date to be announced later I do not know how to put a poll on Duncan that is why I asked for comments this morning So please keep an eye on here, and if you have an opinion post it please. I need to speak to some of the committee to try and sort this out, But I have just come in and am out again in 45 mins so it will not be today Charlie

Thanks Tom Would you like to borrow my glasses? It was a good fish and I am sure it tasted lovely Charlie

Sorry Guys Peter and I were both on mobiles and I had not double checked dates Perhaps it would be better to fish our Bream comp next weekend and look to see when we can re schedule the Burnham lads. Please post thought about fishing on the 28th, a Bank holiday sunday. I do not think we can double book the 48 hr weekend, so the bream comp will not be fished on June 4th. Please pass the message around. Sorry for any confusion caused Martin/Adam can you call me to discuss dates I am at work this morning Charlie

Hi all after checking with various weather sites and checking the TV weather Peter and I have postponed the Bream / Burnham comp We do not consider the forecast to be good enough to fish even the inshore grounds. Due to possible Family commitments by Members over the bank Holiday weekend we have decided to postpone by 2 weeks to Sunday 4th June I hope that the Burnham lads can still come down Its a shame but its safety first Charlie

Or perhaps its time for Fred to fit another gadget and fire back LOL Charlie
