  1. Did the same on Alfresco several years ago, great modification, well worth doing IMHO I have not used the bow windlass since, and I think it may now have siezed up through lack of use you could probably find a write up and pictures on here somewhere if you search
  2. Hi Terry Since moving house a couple of years ago we have been surprised by the charges we get quoted by a few trades
  3. No problem Hooky I am sure we are not the only ones that have wasted hours trawling through fishing and diving sites looking for that big wreck stocked to the hilt with giant fish. in reality even wreck fishing is not a guarantee, but when you hit a good one on the right day, the effort seems well worth it. and on a bad day when your chosen wreck is busy or not fishing, being able to zoom out and find a few more that you took the trouble to put into the plotter makes that effort well worth it to. have fun running her in.
  4. Yes we do mate
  5. Hi Jim I sent this to Dan who has a similar machine and so far has only been using it for laser etching, while business is quiet. He has asked what software you are using Charlie

    New eBay Scam

Be careful guys, there are some scammers about
  11. Some of the boats these guys used to take to Weymouth for the meets were slightly dodgy for the distance out that they wanted to take them. Dujon 14 no probs Ian.
  12. Andy may be your man then Terry
  13. Hi Terry depends how big the unit will be Terry. would it fit where that large gauge is in the [Timber?] part of the dash, so its just a case of swapping things around If you want a moulding made, and nobody here has time and expertise, You could try Andy Middleton who does a lot at the Yacht Club, he is on 07860 167991 Charlie
  14. Happy Birthday guys Have a great day
  15. Well done Dave left it to the last trip of the year I see🤣
  16. Good luck with the new Motor. when I had an old Wilson Flyer 18 I too got fed up with an old dodgy engine. I bought a new 2 stroke 60HP Yamaha. Boy the boat was so different afterwards, fast stable and with an engine that could be totally relied on. I had years of fun until I upsized.
  17. Finishing the day on the ray mark, looks like rain is coming.
  18. Be alright until he finds beer and girls
  19. great fish that. I have never caught one. a mate of mine caught one of those on Chesil on my very first trip there as a teenager. [long time ago now] I remember it scared him to death in the dark, when his torch shone on all of its teeth. LOL
  20. Depends what you are trying to do with your boat. if its just getting back to the marks and wrecks, it doesn't need all the bells and whistles. if you are chasing fish in deep water you may need more than basic kit.
  21. 150 metres out, I would need the boat for that
  22. Happy New Year and a great 2021 everyone. Tight lines and calm seas to you all. Charlie and Wendy
  23. If we can get through the Pandemic, we would want to go

  25. Plenty of whiting on the 50/50 banks Stuie. Tight lines
