  1. Not a problem Dave Just text me your address and post code I will do the form filling and email it across Chris, if you would rather I do that for you and Dogfish please do the same
  2. http://www.alderney.gov.gg/CHttpHandler.ashx?id=139520&p=0 we need to submit these forms 48 hours in advance by email if you want to send them to me, or just the details to fill in [wchapman212@outlook.com] I will email over to them, I have already phoned them and our three boats are booked in, so we have time. I see that they say a tender is required but they did not have a problem with us being on the commercial quay for fuel?? Steve are you taking your tender? Travel tracker cannot be done yet. I just tried and it would not let me. For admin ashore and any tests, there are only two daily windows 0900-1100 and 1500-1600. Fuel has been a bit tricky as Mainbrayce is closed. I have booked a bowser delivery on the commercial quay at 1400 Friday. and need to confirm on Thursday that we are going. They do not work at Weekends so if we need a second fill that will need to be from them at 0800 Monday, or if the weather window for Monday return trip closes, we may need to use drums filled on Friday. I have booked dinner at 1900 on Sat in Marais Hall and will continue to look for a late booking somewhere on Friday Charlie
  3. Looks like a good choice and not too thirsty for the run from ridge You will look forward to the winter, when the speed limit is removed. When I kept my 18ft Dory at Royal Marines Poole I always enjoyed that and planing up the harbour made a huge saving in fuel.
  4. Welcome Back Graham What boat have you got now? Charlie
  5. Sounds like a great idea to me Terry
  6. Sorry to hear about the bait tank Terry, I have always found that contact changing water works much better than an aerator, as it keeps the water both fresh and cold Well done on nabbing a good bass Like you already checking the weather for next weekend
  7. The ritual of regular scanning of weather channels has started. time to start crossing things.😏😏
  8. I called in at my surgery on my way home from work and signed on for their online services, which is the alternative way to get this done, all worked. Dave popped around later last night, his seemed to go through straight away with the photo and video. Looks like there are many ways to get this done. But at least its done now and we both have proof of vaccinations.
  9. I wonder if the new contours will eventually get covered in growth and become a fish holding feature. That area is pretty flat usually.
  10. Terry it was when getting as far as logging in to gain access to records, it asked for additional security, but then would not let me set it up. Like Martin I have just used my laptop, with my phone just to get their access code when requested It was a simple process went straight through, using my android phone the video for facial recognition would not work. Using the camera on my laptop took about two minutes.
  11. That is what I was struggling with Martin Took the photo but could not get video to work
  12. Hi Terry I had no problem with the tracker account, but I am struggling with the NHS app. So that I have proof of vacination First trying to get hold of my NHS No from my surgery. then trying to log in to their app Will try again later tonight. Anyone else tried this?
  13. Wendy's new PB 37lb and a bit heavy for her to lift for picture
  14. Another rare fish, but not as rare as stingray
  15. You are welcome Terry Regarding evidence of the vaccinations, I presume that the NHS Covid-19 Vaccination record card is all that is required. As it shows the type, batch number and date injected But it only has a hand written name on it.
  16. The Tubs do grow a lot larger. we had some about the 4lb Mark and were advised to eat them, they were lovely
  17. I googled Travel Tracker and see that there is one for Guernsey So I have opened an account for that one. https://covid19.gov.gg/guidance/travel/traveltracker You go through the process and then it says that you cannot complete the application until 2 day prior to your journey. I hope that this is correct and at least we will know if the weather will be good enough by then. Charlie
  18. Thanks Lofty would have given it to Stu. LOL
  19. Thanks Sam
  20. Can We take it from that positive message, that you have spoken to the accommodation owners and all is good, so we can all go back to worrying about weather forecasting.
  21. How interesting Thanks Jerry If the weather and the Channel Islands rules allow, some of us could well be flatty fishing mind you its been a few years since we had a big one
  22. Wendy and I had a great day Lovely to see so many mackerel around and like Sam we got totally distracted by the Tope fishing, we had over 20 in the short period that we could fish out there on those tides. Wendy had a PB of over 30lb [Unweighed] Then we went inshore and tried for some bream while the breeze blew. Last move saw us on a ray spot Total for us 10 Mac Tope Blonde Ray Undulate Ray Smoothound Plaice Bass Black Bream LSD Conger We slept on the boat overnight and stated fishing inshore early on Sunday [well I did Wendy was in bed asleep], I had 4 other species, in an hour. LOL
  23. Thats a bugger, probably why I got the response I did yesterday. Weymouth anyone?
  24. What are the rules Jerry? Is it just the number of different species?
  25. Alfresco, Charlie and Wendy Saturday
