i was round my mates house yesterday and we were watching this program called screaming reels very interesting. and one man was fishing for chub using slugs for bait does anybody no if this works. what kind of bait or technique do you use when you go river fishing. is using a plug any good for catching river fish. tight lines sam

hi all i downloaded a fly fishing simulater earlier today and tried to have a go to try and get the idea of fly fishing but it was really confusing. does anybody no a good one that is easy to use and demonstrates on how to fly fish or does anybody have any books or an old rod they dont want which i can have a practice with and learn to do it. thanks in advance tight lines sam

when i go conger and cod fishing i use a ugly stick 30lb class with a tld 15 sometimes tld 25 this is a nice combo i picked up the rod for 50 pounds but the reels can be expensive around 100 pounds. sam
