hi all it was great fun today out with humphrey and my best wrecking trip yet i had 11 congers biggest 35lb and enjoyed wrestling the congers back over the side hopefully next time heading out for the big pollack my aim last year was to catch a 40lb conger and i have done that this year it is to catch over a 10lb pollack tight lines sam

Hi all we went out wednesday on great white and james in his raider All we had was half a dozen doggies and a small 19lb conger Daniel was not feeling to well so we headed in a bit early Went out today (thursday) with Humphrey on Ow Much and James and Adam on Dawn Raider. we will post a report when Dad has done the photos tight lines Sam

nice one allen you wouldnt have got me out today im glad i stuck to fishing on the computer i caught loads of bass and pike pike to 50lb nice to be out fishing tight lines sam

18lb and very slippery

we went to have another look on a wreck for some congers for the second time in seven days I managed to beat my old personal best. After watching dad catch a conger smaller than a Paul J bait I went and caught an 18lb conger Dad showed me how to lift it up for the photo after chasing it around on the deck. after a short break I then landed a new pb conger of 46lb 8oz which was more of a struggle when giving it a conger cuddle for the photos.i will attempt to attach photos. Hi Biily We headed out from Poole this morning to flat calm sea, whent straight to the banks had 1 small whiting and 1 small doggie this was really just something to do waiting for the tide to slacken. At about eleven we went off to a small wreck just around the corner from swanage, we passed maverick on the way who were on a very round number. Dad put the hook in and we had about 7 conger in an hour, the first 1 came in at 21 lbs caught by Dan the biggest we had was my one of 40lb in total in the day we had ten me: 3 34lb, 40lb and 15lb Dan:3 21lb 31lb 15lb Dad: 4 lost 2 30lb 34lb 35lb 20lb The landfing net broke on the first fish so the rest had to be hauled over the side by the trace or T'Barred off at the side of the boat overall a great day out nice to be out again and not stuck in the harbour tight lines Sam, Dan and Charlie

conger and smoothhound for me also tope theses three species fight like anything and is great to watch them swim away because they taste horrible still after the big conger after watching dan catch one but have succeded with the tope and have had a few reasonable smoothhound [ ten pounds] sam
