Carl James Posted Thursday at 03:20 PM Report Posted Thursday at 03:20 PM Sorted, family fishing emergency has popped up, so Deckhand Jenny has closed the shop tomorrow! See you out there 🎣 Maverick Martin, Graham Nash, Jim and 2 others 3 1 1 Quote

Unfortunately I had today off and had a short trip out (ended up on my own) and moved all my work to tomorrow. Good luck getting out (one way or another). Jim and Carl James 1 1 Quote

Jim Posted 21 hours ago Report Posted 21 hours ago Following us is a great idea if you want a quiet, peaceful day out. We're great at finding the places with no fish. 👍 Kingfisher 126 1 Quote

Greg Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago Likewise MickTried for a Mackerel for two hours and then gave up!!!Carol was with me and also tried to fish for some. That is twice we have been out with no Mackerel. She could not believe how bad it has got as when she used to come out when Brad was younger, we were always sure to get some Mackerel for bait.Very sad.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
Jim Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago I came up with a plan. Catch a Bass & cut it up for Mackerel Bait. Martin & Tony didn't think it was a good idea. 🤣 Quote
Maverick Martin Posted 4 hours ago Author Report Posted 4 hours ago So we followed through with the plan to fish some offshore banks. Out through the 7:30 bridge lift We visited 3 in total with very little return. 1st mark should have produced. We really did try hard but no rays, bass or anything much we did however managed some Mackerel, small congers, loads of Scad and a solitary dogfish. We decided on a move to the 6 mile bank. that was totally barren so off to the South West Banks. Here we had a few more mackerel, loads more scad, one solitary Bream and a nice sized (but not huge) Bass. We did get bit off a few times which we guessed were tope. A really lovely day to be on the water with good mates plus no dramas Almost perfek Kingfisher 126 and Greg 2 Quote
