Well lady luck seems to be still with us, as we had no real plan we went east as i drew closer to the mark i could see that there were at least two boats close to the mark On a closer inspection it turned out to be two club boats The Grinch and Jo Jo had a quick chat to find both already into fish so off to the mark pick down, just lately, it seems to be working out well with two rods out each and different baits, first rod full Mackerel flapper and the second whole squid, Jackies first rod whole squid tipped with Mackerel second rod Mackerel chunks after 10 mins flapper rod just starting to nod also Jackie getting bites the now named Conger rod had a run, looked at Jackie and told her to get the butt pad which she handed to me, no not for me you put it on i think it

Abode will be out Sat as yet no plan. Happy to buddy of shore or south east to the banks.

Bloody Bristolians don

Our son came with us this weekend to try for a Ray or Conger, but the chop was too much and the mark were too far. So we headed for Swanage and shelter, after an hour and just doggies and Mackerel it was quite noticeable that only a few boats were out fishing with a couple of charters. still looking at marks that I had close to Swanage. True Blue passed close and started to set a drift quite close, so I slipped in behind after 30 mins he moved off and then Jackie had a great bite which she lifted into, our first Blond Ray on Abode11 it

As the weather looking good will be out Sat/Sun and will be on CH 6. As small tides this weekend will be trying for Rays. Tight Lines to all. Craig
