As Abode is back in Bristol I would like to give the Bristol Channel a go can anyone give me contact details of the boys down that way so I can try and plan a trip with a buddy boat over the winter? Ta Craig

Yea! Ben you were missed as Dave and I only had Jackie to take the pi** out of. Hope to fish with you soon mate . Charlie I always get stick over Bristol Rovers and City but i only just love fishing so any stick is just like water of a ducks back

Early start set the alarm for 5am to meat Dave at Cobbs for 6am so we started in the dark and returned in the dark. Yes it was an early start but well worth it we have been lucky enough to buddie White Magic in the past and watch Dave and crew out fish Abode so expectation was high, after an hours steaming. Out with the feathers on some rust with no luck and Charlie reporting that he had set the pick at the wreck we were heading for. The sun set was great but the swell was horrible Charlie reported that a couple of small Rays had hit the deck as we came along side ( it was great to see Charlie and crews welcoming faces and the stick they gave Jackie made Dave and I grin. ) So Dave set up the first of three drifts before we had the first Pollock on board then every drift produced two good fish biggest to me 9lb2oz as we now had enough fish for the table Dave set the pick about 100 ft from Charlie, now reporting they had Tope but no real size Rays so all the rods deployed and bang Jackie

Yes Paul well done. May I be cheeky and ask is Jackie the first female in the club to hold a record as she has no ideal that she is a club record holder as yet so a doulble whamy would be a great surprise. Craig

I would like to thank Adam for a good day out I know Adam was very disappointed with our tally as was all, but it was great to be out and in good company it was also great to learn how to fish the bridge and how to float fish a new experience for me and one I am sure Jackie will enjoy. the 5lb Bass will make supper for the family so no complaints from me. Ps Adam promised me another trip so a great day for me.

Great report Adam and a big well done on your skippering. As for Dave I know how I felt last year with 2nd place this year 9th. Dave and you should fill the same it was your day in a small boat with bad weather but you still caught a great fish well done on 4th place.
