Didn't even see you. Dodgy old mince pies ! Saw a guy in a kayak. Didn't recognise him though. I had a Gurnard and a couple of good sized Mackerel from there. Happy days !

    Tiddler gets out

    Thanks Mal. Jim
  7. Jacqui & myself decided to take Tiddler out for a bit of Mackerel bashing. She was at her parents' in the morning so I got the boat ready. We launched at about 2:00 pm and made our way out of the harbour. It was quite lumpy for such a little boat but not dangerous. We stopped and had a little try about ½ mile out. No joy there so I decided to head out further. We spotted Nigel & Mal on Wishin Too and stopped to say hello ( Nige took a picture ) ( as proof that Tiddler got out I think ) I hope he's gonna post it on here for me. There wasn't much doing on the maccy front so Jacqui got her book out and left her feathers in the water ( just in case ) I had six & a Gurnard during the afternoon and Jacqui had none. ( That makes a change, she usually gets more than me ) We had a great afternoon but as it got later the Sun disappeared and the wind increased so we headed back in. Only Tiddler's second time out this year but very enjoyable. Charged up my phone but forgot to take it so no photos ( Silly sausage ) Jim

    Not working.

No that's the government's tactic ! ! Work until you die. They don't see any point in chasing the professional scroungers. You'll NEVER get them to work. Just keep hitting the workers, you know they'll keep working. ALSO - - - save money by releasing the prisoners early so they can carry on stealing - - - - and producing lots more little thieves - - - - and - - - and - - - - GRRR. Oops ! went off on one a bit there ! Just come back from holiday and not looking forward to the " W " word Ah well - - - - - at least I know that my taxes are being spent wisely !

  23. Although last time I didn't have it done by them and it was half that ! ! Yes it was done by a qualified engineer.
  24. Poole Marine services ! ! Not good is it ? ? ?
  25. I had an E-Tec 75 ( same physical lump as 90 ) on my Warrior. I was very pleased with it. Never had any trouble. It used to tick over smoothly. Good on fuel. But I believe there was a problem with the plastic casings on the early ones. ( O.K. now I believe ) When I changed over to my little Tiddler, I believed all the hyp and went for a Honda. Yes it's a very good engine. Smooth, quiet, economical on fuel. But Flaming Hell ! ! ! you have to have it serviced after 10 hours use ( just as well cos they'd built it with a gearbox seal the wrong way round and was taking in water ) then every 12 months after that even if it's hardly been used. £360 per year ! ! ! The E-Tec is every 3 years so if you're capable of a visual inspection in - between services that makes more sense ( to me ) If I was doing it again, I'd definitely go for the E-Tec. I'm no expert this is purely my opinion. Jim
