I had similar on an old Mercury Blue band. Ran great for a few hours and then it would not start. Next day, it would start easy. I fixed and checked a load of stuff but in the end my feeling was the coils ( or component parts ) were breaking down and heat build up was causing my grief ! Jim

Maybe we should ban sea fishing worldwide for 5 years with VERY strong penalties. No nets No rod and line - - - - nothing ! Probably sounds harsh or daft, but if something is not done very quickly - - - we'll have f**ked it up for ever ! ! It'd probably be easier for me as I never catch anything anyway. Jim -
