Hi Jamie, That looks like Bronze to me. So if it's a bronze fitting and a steel bearing, stick it on a baking tray in your wife's nice clean oven with the open end down. The bronze will expand more than the steel. When it get's hot the bearing should fall out. ( I hope ) - - I used this method for removing the main bearings from my old Triumph motorbikes ( many years ago ) Jim
