Is it a Dell one Brian. They put something in their system so only a Dell disk will do. I tried my Dell windows 7 disk. It installs OK but won't authorise with either code. If I can't get a Vista disk I may come back to you. Thanks for the offer Brian. Jim

Does anyone have a Dell windows Vista disk that I can borrow or scrounge a copy of ? It's all legal. I have bought a cheap laptop from work for my grand daughter and it's wiped completely clean. It IS licensed for Vista and I have to source the disk to install it. I've looked all over the place but can't find where to get it from. I use the license key from this laptop to authorise the software after installation so it's all done properly. Jim
