About 25 years ago, my Dad fitted a 2.5 outboard to something like this. He mounted the engine about 1/3 length forward from stern. It was fine for speed until he added a seat, deck,foam filled it. etc.etc. It was crap at turning though. It just used to go sideways. ( Yes Rob, I come from a long line of nutters ) Jim

Hi Mike, Small Fry, with Dave ( W Magic ), My Son Steve, & Myself went to our chosen mark over Wareham area. I had one of 1lb 4oz. We gave it a couple of hours and moved due to a Cockler joining us. Steve had one of 1lb ish. Spoke to Stuie on the phone, he said they were fishing Evening Hill from the shore and nobody seemed to be catching. Our second mark was slow, so we shot off to GoatHorne at 30 mph. I had another at 1lb 4

Mine is a 2005 model, which I bought second hand in 2007. I have no quality issues with mine at all. ( yes it does tend to porpoise a little at 30mph ) but I don't get up to that speed very often due to lumpy water. I have spoken to Warrior a few times, once for a switch panel. The other times for advice. In every case, they have been fantastic. I am surprised to hear that you are having problems. ? ? ? ? Jim
