Spoke to Dave ( Coddy ) earlier. Thanks for the advice Dave, you were right. Anyway - -- - - There are 2 Jobs at our place. 1 ) Senior Design engineer. 2 ) Design engineer. Using AutoCad and Inventor Software. Both are in the Marine Industry. There that sets the ball rolling. Jim

Something for the Admin Team to considder. These are Desperate Times and Jobs are Scarce! Sometimes we hear of jobs becoming available at our place of employment. Would it be possible to peg a members' section with possible vacancies, so that we may get to hear about them a bit quicker. Obviously, we would need to ask before posting, but I think it may be a way of helping each other, and our employers. Jim

I have looked in the usual places, but can't find results for the Flatty comp. Went up to Coventry on Saturday to see my Grand Kids. Stayed at a mate's in Stratford and took a leisurely drive back through the Cotswolds, stopping for Sunday Lunch in a quiet little pub. It was all very nice. But Monday lunch was my first chance to look for results. Did the comp go ahead? Was it won by anyone we know? and ..... and .... Jim

I'd had my main battery connected to the Optimate for a week. So I connected it back up, fitted the muffs and fired it up. Just like Brian, it started straight away. Made Tea. Ran it for about 15 minutes. it all seemed O.K. Then got the little engine and started it. That took about 6 pulls. Ran that for about 15 minutes. Put the spare battery on charge. Made more Tea. Pulled the trailer up the drive. Scrubbed the area around where the boat had been. ( ground going green and slippery ) Made more Tea. Put everything away just as it was getting dark. Made more Tea. Feel much happier now. Just need to take the prop off and check my gearbox seals. Thanks for all the usefull info gentlemen. Cheers. Jim

Charlie, It's not important. But they're not the people I dealt with. This guy was based in cornwall. It seems that Lowrance need lessons in Customer Aftercare, but the dealerships are very good. Cheers. Jim

Gary, I can't collect my mail until tonight. Charlie, When I had a problem with my Lowrance GPS. Warrior put me in touch with the area rep. I think his name is Mike Hall. He was fantastic so I'm surprised that Lowrance themselves were not. Oh Well ! Can't win every time. Jim
