O.K. now you've done it ! When I've been flatty bashing and taken fish home for cleaning, I have noticed that some have eyes one side and some on the other. I thought it was just evolution of the same species. Are you saying they're a different fish ? ? ? ? ? Jim

Probably no use, But I had the same thing with an old Marina 40. The kill button was missing when I bought it, so I wired in a kill switch by the helm. The vibrations of the engine had worn the insulation on the lead and was shorting out. It did not affect it too much at speed because the contact was being made and broken. When in neutral, the engine sits in a different position and does not make the connection. When in gear, the engine casing moves and sits in the damaged insulation. I hope this makes sense. If you have a remote kill cord, check the lead. Jim

Sounds reasonable enough. Shouldn't be too big a job to clean the carb out. Try the net for instructions. Jim

I once mis-read the notice and paid the wrong fee. They gave me a ticket. They didn't make a proffit though. I wrote and argued it a few times. It was a genuine mistake and I had paid although it was the wrong amount. Did you explain you were new to the area and did not realise you were breaking any rules? Jim
