  1. Under your Rubber rubbing strip, at the aft - starboard. Will be your serial number. Phone Warrior 01772459666 and quote the serial no. They should be able to help. I have always found them really helpful. Good luck. Jim

Welcome Ben. Did your Dad not pay for the Family Membership. Jim
  3. This could start people complaining that they should be allowed to fish from Tender sized dinghies, as long as they're in pairs. Have fun with the wording chaps. Jim

  6. I would bloody love to Charlie. Unfortunately, I've just had a week in Cornwall, then went to the Boat Show. Now I have Drains to dig at my Mother-in Law's. I would love to come along another time though. Jim
  7. Bloody shame. A very rare sight around here. Jim
  8. I have very limited experience in this matter. All I can say is that I have Lowrance GPS and Fish Finder and have been very pleased with them. My setup was 2 years old when I bought it and developed a problem a few months later. I spoke to the area rep, Mike Hall. He was in the area the following week and came and replaced the faulty part and fitted new leads. All he charged me was a cup of tea. I was looking at the new systems at the weekend. Very impressive, I thought. You can also download emulators. So you can run a replica on your computer to learn how to use it / or see if you like it. Jim

    Drogue

I would have thought using two anchors anywhere but slow running water would be unsafe. I intend to use two when floundering etc. I imagine you could drop the rear anchor, motor over the top of your " spot " and keep going a bit further, paying out line as you go. Then drop the forward anchor, Drift back to your "spot" and pay out line until you get there. Then pull in the slack on the rear one. Or have I got it all wrong. Jim
  13. Welcome to the Club Jay Kay. Most important: Be safe, Have fun, then worry about catching fish later. Jim

Wicked ! Very Smart Brian. I've been past your house every evening this week and your boat is always in the drive. Have you been out yet ? Rather like a pair of Testicles with a steering wheel on them. ( Driving ya Nuts ! ! ) Jim
  15. Yes my Lowrance was the same. I didn't do it though, I had the area rep here and he did it for me. It looked easy enough though. Probably needs doing again now ( 1 1/2 years later ) Jim

Big Thanks to Martin and Neal and everyone who helped and sponsored the Comp. I think I'm proof that you don't need to win prizes to enjoy it. Well done to all. Lovely Nosh too ! I'll look through my pictures tonight and post a few. Jim

I need specs too Trev. Luckilly, I have a Son. A while back he told me that if you hold down the Ctrl key and scroll your mouse wheel, you can increase or decrease web page size. Jim
  24. I didn't make myself clear Gary. I meant that it's easy for a smaller boat to get cluttered with gear. I agree, a Warrior would easily tow it and with a suitable bin for storage - it'd be the dog's -------- ! Are you in the open comp - I haven't seen your name posted. Jim
