I am fed up with looking at forcasts which are allways far from accurate, or so it seems. I would much sooner listen to people like Alun J and other members who are posessed of a weather knowledge which never seems to fail. To the question lads, what is the weather like for this week/end. When i was on the ledge the other day with Trevor(wedger) we counted over 50!! boats out there, and I might add this is happening most week-ends, What with catch sizes, engine noise etc not to mention the ''speedy brigade'' i am not surprised that the have had enough!! and what was disturbing was that most of what i am counting is not ''charter boats'' it cant go on for ever!! Well I was out again Sunday this time with my son, Fishing moderate, but an interesting situation occured, during the afternoon I looked round to see just appearing round my bow an 8ft pram dingy (we where right on the extremes of the ledge about 4mls out) Little day breeze just coming up, Dingy,oar and small electric outboard driven with one adult and a boy of about 8-9yrs old both jigging for Macks. Not a tender to any anchored boat and NOT A BLO!!!!DY lifejacket between them!! after a few words (carefull not to scare the lad) they made for the beach with I think a lot of us watching them. Is there no end to peoples stupidity, Derek,

The Judiciary has its hand tied by sentencing guidlines, (just try going against this guidance!!) The answer is a sort out at the ministry of justice,(the Lord chancellors office of yester year) A monumental shake up of the C.P.S. and its opinions of what constitutes crime that should be prosecuted for its ''seriousness!!'' not for its ease of conviction to enhance figures. Lastly a serious look at policing in this country,or rather lack of it because uniformed personel are busy filling out paper - work Civys should be doing. who knows the coming shake up may do something.
