Alun I was planning a trip out on the grinch tomorrow if the forcast stays true. It could be last chance i get use it for a few weeks. Just a short trip to the ledge. It would be good to know there is a few boats out. Mick

We went south of the needles and had 3 cod and 3 whiting on the boat. 2 just under 9lb and 1 at 5lb Very cold easterly wind but quite a pleasent day out. Monday was even colder and a lot rougher only one cod 9.5lb on poole spoil grounds

Wrap up warm if your out tomorrow. That wind was bitterly cold out there today. Just one cod on board today and not alot else very slow all day. Ill be out again tomorrow looking for that monster cod. I hope the wind drops off compared with today. it was abit uncomfortable at times. I decided that the grinch should stay on the mooring and opted for a charter boat instead. 38ft, warm dry cab, tea/coffee on tap, microwave and toilet or a warrior 165. I love my boat but itwasnt a hard choice.

Paul No Trailer yet thats next years purchase. Planning to leave mooring at wick about 8am if all is well at home. Mick

Ok Guys As a new comer i would like some advise on saturdays weather. Is saturday looking like a reasonable day to go out of christchurch Any advise welcome. Mick

Paul If the weather stays ok it would be nice to have another boat for company. It will be only my 4th trip out and first fishing trip so any help to find a mark would be good.

PJ You could always ask Terry to pic you one up whilst he is in florida. I spent some time in the Bass Pro shop in september. To much to look at Too much temptation to bring stuff home. A nice new prop for the warrior half price compared to home 2 nice 6-12lb ugly sticks

Well Done on catching a weighable fish. I was on a charter boat and caught crabs all day. Eight at a time. Although there was about 7 or 8 flounders caught nothing above 2lb. did you move to Arne bay in the afternoon? there was a Warrior near us. I cant wait to get some use out of mine.

Hi Dan Probably not the best solution but it works. Right click and select save link as. Save to desk top or temp folder. The open saved file using the program that suits there must be a better way so i will keep playing and let you know if i find one Mick

Can anyone help I am having problems viewing any thumbnails or attachments that are embeded into messages on the forum. When i click on them i just get a page of symbols any ideas thank you

I finally put the boat in the water. After my new boat arrived 4 days before going away on holiday it seemed like at long wait. Couldnt of booked a better day for the maiden voyage. Flat calm and the sun was shining. I think im going to have some fun, l cant wait for some nice days. I have a lot to learn but looking forward to it. So if you see me out there please say hello. Hi Tom Good to meet you today although brief. Had a good day but price doesnt matter now. With what I spent today i could have had one of your boats. Apparently my boats here now but still not got time to go and see it. Itching like mad but will have to wait untill monday

Hope they dont do much more of a deal. Mine should be delivered tomorrow dont want to think ive paid to much. didnt buy a boat package from warrior just the boat and lots of exras
