Fished a shore comp at Southborne on Monday evening and it was difficult to cast short enough for the mackerel and later the scad - they were chasing the bait fish right onto the beach and you could see them in the waves just as they broke onto the beach. Needless to say several were caught.....

Totally agree Dave - stocks are nothing like they were years ago, but it's good to see records continue to be beaten. However there's always still a thrill when a fish is deceived into pulling my string. Long may it be so.
