Sorry phone rang and started work early! A bump and a bang we stopped saw it behind us cautiosly restarted engine lots of vibration at low revs slight performance reduction at cruising. Not nice when you have portland race between you and home! Only damage was to the prop- i guess as we were on the plain it went down the hull and caught the leg.

We hit a railway sleeper last autumn in Lime bay.

Honestly not sure why you are trying to catch bream now- we were pulling them in in november:) Messed up seasons in weymouth!

Yes we too were under the impresion the island was booked up so any numbers for beds pleas pm me or dad. Lots of good advice here, also crimp (wrap a bit of wire) around the shackles on the anchor/chain so they dont work loose Secondly ensure your anchor line is longer than the depth! ( yes i did once connect a brand new anchor to 20ft of roap in 100 meters doh!)

If the window holds i suspect we may visit a certain bit of rust we encountered last week. On the other hand we have a bit of a dilemma in that there are a lot of work to do before allderney. We have replaced the prop but wipers, dads bunk and a general sort out are needed plus our livebait cover snapped off in a gale and dad will need to clean and put up the curtains! Then again might as well go wrecking!
