Not normal only seen them twice in 7 odd years, i think they are the leftovers of a storm far away.
First time we fished the shables thet were at least three times as big, slower moving but youshat yourself when one broke!
We had some nice soup in the morning and sausages in the afternoon but no fish
Weather were good windvise but visibilty was variable at- one point couldnt see any other boats- just hearing engines around us.
There were some very big swells rolling through was interesting when they started breaking over the top of the bank!
Meal plans fine bt me Terry -was a little worried you werent going to jump in and Rob had stuck me with it ( in which case id probably forget to do anything and end up stuck on a small Island with 30 hungry irate fishermen!
Yes still keen! I think every boat going has made the trip before so less questions.
No social planning yet for meals etc, maybe we need a social secretary for the trip
Aint risking my beads plaice fishing.
Timing is difficult for me - would only be able to do the bank holiday friday
Aint sleeping in a tent on deck in march either!
I can only echoe dad a warrior will handle any conditions you can and beyond, i once arrived at a mark to find my shoulder completely locked in position from the slamming id taken (i was driving so full throttle the whole way)
I admire your adventourours spirit but tide races are scary and unpreticable! And i say that for freeboyz! We have a 100hp engine to get out of it in portland race and I still dont like going in there
Just to give you a general feel generally fish saturdays we are looking for whiting (and hoping for cod) next few months , then shambles till spring then the wrecks) with a few secret plans inbetween! Once dads sorted we will get you on!
