The Cod Comp is cancelled, how ever if a miracle does happen and any of you local lucky skippers make it out, pictures please. At least this Christmas has been a little better than last year regards being able get about and see people. Happy New Year and letโ€™s hope 2022 continues to be a positive one.
  4. Weather Report!!!!! The weather is changing !!! As as I type this Tuesday looks possible, I think the best idea is please watch the weather and skippers make your own decision with safety being paramount. Please post which day your fishing and stay safe๐ŸŽ…๐Ÿป Lets hope Father Christmas has told the Cod, tight lines.

  6. Dear All, We have decided to open the Comp one more day to try and find a weather window. Cod and Whiting Comp can now be fished on 27th 28th 29th or 30th December. I will post over the Christmas period the weather, but please use your own discretion and look carefully at the weather before deciding to fish. Please post which day you are fishing before heading out. If you have any concerns about the conditions feel free to ring myself 07866532766 or contact any other committee member for there thoughts. A very Happy Christmas and hopefully a safe and relaxed 2022 to all PBSBAC members and there families. Jerry๐ŸŽ…๐Ÿป๐ŸŽ…๐Ÿป

  11. Looking forward we have decided we will go ahead with the Flounder Competition this Sunday. It is windy, but as it will be in the harbour we feel that using common sense and keeping in touch with other club boats we can proceed. Please order bait ASAP from Andy at PSA as I know he needs some notice. Usual Competition rules and a weigh in at Cobbs at 4.15, if any members are fishing other club waters, please be vigilant and keep up with weather forecasts. Please let me have any fish details recorded by 4pm on Sunday 07866532766 or let any other committee member know. Tight lines and letโ€™s hope we find a Flounder or two
  12. Have a good one๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ

  14. A reminder the Flounder Competition is on December 12th, letโ€™s hope the weathers kind to us.
  15. Hi Graham, If still available I will have it. I would do a gift to the Air Ambulance or Juliaโ€™s House if thatโ€™s ok? Jerry
  16. Having been beaten by the weather twice we will try again to put on the above Competition. We are going to put it on over the 28, 29, and 30th of December please pick one day and say when you are fishing, weather permitting, and post your catch details on the site the day you fish. There will be no weigh in, so photos with your catch please. I will post about the weather beforehand so watch this space. Please order bait from PSA early, if the weather is good I am sure Andy will be busy. Incase the Cod and Whiting are not playing the game, there is a booby prize for the longest Squid caught the day your out to be presented at the January meeting. Tight lines Jerry
  17. Cod and Whiting Comp Cancelled Unfortunately the weather has beaten us again, I have woken up to a covering of snow and horrendous wind in Wiltshire. Tommorrow is as per last time, just a bit too much, especially with the the residual swell left from today. Lets hope the Flounder Comp the weather is better and we find a few flatties on December 12th
  18. Cod and Whiting Comp. This Sunday is not looking good regards weather , I will post another final message on Saturday. I think the Cod and Whiting may have seen the forecast too unfortunately!!!
  19. Cod and Whiting Comp Sunday 28th Just a reminder this Sunday we will be trying to run the above after it was blown off previously, Unfortunately itโ€™s not looking promising but you never know! Watch this space!!!!
  20. New Cod Whiting Comp Date. 28th November Having had to postpone tomorrow we will keep fingers crossed for the weather on the above date.
  21. Dear All, Unfortunately the weather seems to be just a bit too much tomorrow considering the different size boats and the fact for the Cod and Whiting you have to travel a bit further. As a responsible club I think the only sensible thing is to postpone and hope we get another chance before Christmas. Jerry
  22. Have a great evening ๐Ÿท๐Ÿท
  23. The Cod/Whiting Comp is only on Sunday as we have a weigh in at Cobbs at 4.15. Hopefully if it goes ahead, all local Poole boats will make it to Cobbs for a beer and banter, those further a field please make sure your fish weights and photos are in by 4pm on Sunday.. If possible txt or whatโ€™s app to me 07866532766 or any other committee member. Weather decision on Saturday morning. Tight lines
  24. The weather for Sunday has fluctuated for the last week. Today itโ€™s looking ok with a Northerly 10-11mph. However in the interests of safety I think I have to leave it until Saturday morning to do a final call. We are all in the same situation so bare with me, Iโ€™ve bought bait and itโ€™s in the freezer!!! Fingers crossed we will be able to get out and look for that elusive Cod and a few Whiting. Jerry
