It seems to be a repetative theme, this weekend Heidi and I were checked into Salterns Marina Hotel for a dinner dance and so yesterday I was looking out on flat calm harbour when I should have been out there fishing. Woke up this morning to a perfect calm but again could'nt get out, working all this week so Sunday is the only opportunity and the weather is set to turn. Can't wait to retire and pick the days when its perfect for fishing, not long to wait now. Gordon H

If the weather really is calming down then I'm certainly going to be taking Fugazi out to fish the competition. Not been out since the last forecast of F3-4 westerly about a month ago. We ended up coming back in a F6 that resulted, in amongst other things, snapping two carbon fibre rods in half including my Super Kenzaki 6-12lb boat rod. Looking forward to trying out new rod and christening new landing net. Gordon H

Don't be afraid to have a go, Fugazi made a hard contact with her trailer which resulted in a lump of gel coat being gouged out just above the waterline leaving the glass matt exposed. Bought a repair kit from Force 4 and fixed it no problem and as they say you can't see the join. Very easy to follow instructions and cheap to do. Gordon H

Due to a very low battery state trying to start my engine last Sunday blew a PCM unit so can't fish Saturday, but should be sorted for Sunday if the date is moved. Gordon H

Over the years I've done a fair bit of wreck research and concluded that re-naming a vessel is definately unlucky! Dont do it. Gordon H

Sounds great, will any of these products remove the brown discolouring I get where water lies in the outboard well below the drain hole level? Gordon H

My other boat is an inflatable 2 man canoe which Heidi and I often take on holiday to explore the inshore fishing in new locations. Its great fun and I believe allowing these really small boats into the club would be a really good move, providing some suitable safety guidlines are developed. Gordon H
