  1. The wind was so stong up near the club meeting venue that it snapped our steel cable washing line! In hindsight it was a bit of a silly idea to hang out our dustsheets in a storm to, "blow them through a bit..." I bet there are a few of Frisky Fox's cousins with snapped strings!

  18. Hi All A fridge and a freezer, (i.e 2 items), old but full working order. Under-counter size. In use at this moment but will be available for collection as of about 6pm- so will be pre-chilled! To be collected from my house, which is in the road opposite the club meeting venue. Can be collected tonight, before or after the club meeting, or by appointment at another time. Ideal for keping bait and/or booze (and other less important items) in prime condition. Please reply to this post or PM or e-mail me if interested. C.

  22. Hi, I've noticed that if I click on the e-mail button in order to e-mail a club/forum member all I get is a blank page. Have tried from home PC and work one- same thing. Does anyone else get this? C.
  23. Hey, we worked hard for our Rays! I've been out 8 or 9 times this year and this was the first time I have had to make a decision on whether I'd caught enough mackerel. But yeah, we caught our quota of macky on Friday, but they did go off the boil after a while. When the rays stopped biting, we moved back through the macky goldmine and didn't get a single bite... apart from our livebait which kept coming back to the boat to have a go at our feathers!
