  1. Charlie, I am out in afternoon and planning on fishing into the dark ( wonder why eh ). If you are still hunting for crew let me know and we could always jump ship later I guess
  2. Rob, Use the scroll bar
  3. IN work at moment but page here should ( If I have coded it correctly ) show the largest fish recorded of each species ( blank ones have no recorded fish yet ). Not fully up to date yet as only shows what is in the club database, as opposed to from time eternity. Let me know if this is what is wanted cheers Paul Club Records
  4. Well done to all who got out to fish the comp and a cracking fish Charlie A.
  5. That's a whole day's fishing on Neo

    life jacket

I have to say we did notice your lifejacket on Saturday and looked most impressive ( I thought it was a buoyancy aid at first ). Retrying the link :- Lifejacket ( and beaten to it by Martin ! )
  7. Unfortunately, unable to make the 12th as will be back late from London on the 11th.

    Maxximus Rods

Bet they are not. The ones in the store in Christchurch are the "Normal" ones
  9. Trev, Went out of Lymo yesterday. Was it not a tad lumpy on the ledge ? We also found bait no problem with full strings a drop. On way back in though not a mackeral to be found

    Orkney Coastliner

The Coastliner I think was superceded by the Orkney 440, so a trailer for a 440 will also be good. Make sure to get plenty of keel rollers.
  11. Many thanks to all who helped organise and run the Open Comp, it was a great success especially considering the weather conditions. Also thanks to all the sponsors who kindly donated prizes, lures and bait. We had a hard day on Neo fishing out on the Gravel Bank where it was quite calm to start with but got quite choppy as the wind picked up. Steve had a nice ray on but he was also releasing rays but decided to do it before it reached the boat Moved closer in later on in the afternoon, and then found the harbour heavy going on way back in. Still good days fishing but less windy next time would be better
  12. Another good tip ( although probably unrelated ) is to pull the trailer forward so wheels turn say 1/4 turn after having pushed trailer backwards. This prevents the brakes from sitting on the drums from where the trailer was pushed backwards.
  13. Extreme Fishing video ?

    Lovely day

Had a good day out too. No bass for us, I think we decided to try for them too late in the day as the tide was slowing. I went for XRay and managed a Tope and Thornback and it was getting decidedly lumpy out there as the wind picked up. Tried calling Stingray ( Terry ) but I guess you went back in earlier ?
  17. See you out there
  18. Paypal payment passed onto Martin and your status updated - welcome aboard.
  19. Mike, I am not actually taking mine - got a better offer and will be out Poole way on Alfresco. Always looking for crew so keep an eye open. cheers Paul
  20. Mike, Had plenty of mackeral on Thurs directly out from the coastguard hut and about level with the outlet buoys at Southbourne
  21. Crew needed to fish on Neo on Sunday ( Weather dependant ). Christchurch launch from Wick ( time around 6AM as LW at 08:22 ). ------------ Now sorted for fishing on Sunday.
  22. 9:00 AM from Wick tomorrow ( Mon ) - 07887 875964 if interested.
  23. Looking to go out of Christchurch ( Wick launch ) on Monday at around 8 AM ish and return by 15:00 at the latest. Anyone fancy crewing ?
