Interesting trawling through these old threads. Etec still running ok on Neo ( well,was last time she was out months ago ) Thinking I could do with a service as it is 3 years nice last one. Problems experienced to date [li]Gasket leak - repaired under warranty[/li] [li]broken catch on cover -repaired under warranty[/Li] [li]tacho stopped working[/li] Two services can't recall exact cost but was less than the annual one I needed on the Honda 6 years in and all ok so far. Ps. I have to say all is well as actually considering selling Neo

Realised that Nigel had mentioned "since the video section has gone" ..... That there was no video forum anymore. I forgot that now I have got the video links working again, that the forum with these in should be re-enabled. It is all back and enabled now, so post those new video links again.

Yes, I see what you mean. I think it is more an iPad thing ( as in no flash ) but will investigate.

At the bottom of the page there is a link called "Mark Community Read" This does what you want. I will see if I can put it in a more prominent position at some time.

To get from the gallery you click on "My Media" then select the image you want and it will put something like this in the post [sharedmedia=gallery:images:1] which will then show the image like this :-

I must admit I struggled initially but as I find more features you can see how this beats the old forum hands down, Searching / tagging of posts is so much more powerful. II am still trying to find the best way to read old unread posts. Also - login issues where you are still logged into the old forum which then causes problems on this forum will of course be reduced. The new forum will only have articles up to the date I imported all the posts from the old forum. Any new updates to the old forum will not be reflected in here. I am planning on closing the old forum for new posts after the next club meeting. At this time I will ( attempt ) to migrate all the remaining posts into this forum.

Now I think I and others think we have found my way around the website and forum, it is probably a good time to consider doing a demonstration at a club night on how to use all these new features. When would you like this done ? - Is March meeting to early, I would be show the new features assuming I can get a 3G signal in the hall and assuming we can have a projector available ( I have a laptop I could use )

Trust me took me a few weeks of spending hours updating the website only to find that the cause of the problem I had with the gallery was because I needed to log out of the old forum. It is all to do with the cookies. I might try tweaking them a bit, but then this is bound to break more !

Seems to work fine on the PC here. Pressed the smiley icon and a row of smiley faces appears. Can you see these ?

One feature I found on the view new content list is on each item there is a little arrow in middle of each one. Press this and it will show the first and last pst. Like you all I am still learning the features on this latest version. Using iPad too and puzzled where this ears sage toolbar is. I think it is because the advanced editor only works on a pc ?

There were a fair few permissions to set. I also inadvertently left guest posting available and realised because someone posted a "test" posting. I deleted it and set permissions correctly. We want guests viewing but not posting.
