  1. I have three large fenders [used] about 2 foot long and 8 inches diameter. A bit big for my little boat. !! Has anyone got three smaller ones [ or buoys] to swap ?? Alun.

  4. Terry, Apparently, there were a few decent blondes booked in! I don't know who or where, ... but I'd feel embarrased if I got anywhere with my best of 3 - 12 !! Lovely day out....... but fishing was very poor....out where we, and and several other boats were! Alun.

  6. I 've just looked at 5 sites ... all show slightly different. 2 give a better Sat., 3 give Sunday as calmer. I think the Sunday is more reliable [from this far away]!! XC gives the 'nicest'; guru is similar ... these are much more reliable than BBC Alun.
  7. How ironic !! Forecast now shifyed back to a better Sat !!! Looking like top of F 3 ..... but W, so shelter if needed Are there still plaice in the Swash this time of year ?? Alun.
  8. Forecasts I'm looking at give a much better day on Sunday...........might it get postponed to Sun ??? .... or does the idea of a Sat comp over-rule that and bump it on to another Sat.?? Alun.

  13. Anyone fancy joining us on an impromtu trip to Weymouth ... as the weather is so nice and the tides are small. I'm trailing Gastro down to Portland and Terry is bringing Stingray from Oxford and we are launching at Castletown at about 7.30 Sorry about short notice ... only got back from Spain last eve [ and keen to enjoy this weather ] Plan to fish the banks early and mussel beds later. Post, arrive or call on Ch 6 in the morning. We have a banker for fish if all else fails !! Alun.

  15. How useful \ necessary is this ??? My card reader on computer is all jammed up { dust and dirt ??} so won't work! My little Garmin seems to work OK....so would fiddling help ?? Alun.
