  1. Very Very impressive.
  2. And hopefully my boat will be in the water Lovely weather to be out there fishing at the moment ... Well done Chris
  3. I'm already mulling over the idea of going in the summer to target Tope from St Albans head. I reckon if I can get a good slick running down towards the overfalls I might tempt something interesting out and on my hook. It will all rely on conditions though as I've only got myself to rely on and it can be very hairy there. I am sure if you keep people informed on here Lofty there would be club boats likely to be fishing a similar area and we would obviously be happy to keep an eye and ear open for you. Certainly I would be happy to be your safety/camera boat when you are bringing in something big and that offer still stands about dropping you and your yak over a ray mark during the summer where there are plenty of small tope and decent bass ready to take your bait (although I can rarely do week day trips).
  4. Good luck Nige .... am looking forward to seeing your replacement.
  5. ??? Ken Clayton. An old school Poole angler. I'm sure lots on here know him.?Don't know your reference sorry http://www.dickstrawbridge.com/www.dickstr...trawbridge.html
  6. Ok Dave, let me know when you're next down and I will leave some money with the guys down there if I cant make it in person. Thanks.
  7. I will take one off your hands dave.
  8. I would love to join you all but it will depend on me getting my boat ready and having had a few successful trips out beforehand. There are other considerations too but having a seaworthy boat must come first
  9. She's gone to a very excited guy with a scouse accent .... We had a little jolly in the harbour then we went to the bank, he drew the pound notes out and gave them to me then I put them straight back into my bank so there was no worries about counterfiet notes or anything. Part of me was sad to see her go, but hopefully my new one will make up for it in a few weeks time
  10. beautiful .....
  11. Bless
  12. You need Haskins rather than Cobbs!!
  13. I wouldnt mind betting you're not far off there Martin.
  14. Agreed Derek .... they would not have been kept on Little Sal either (even if they were all that was caught).
  15. It is an Essex charter Matt. Colchester area. Some of their write ups mention that 15lB Cod are the biggest they get. (some may say that's hardly surprising if they take them all before they get chance to grow )
  16. I totally agree Rob .... a pretty anti fishing photograph if ever there was one!
  17. A slight difference in fuel bills too
  18. You must be a very very excited boy Tomo ..... she looks AWESOME!!!
  19. They do Rob, but this is in case I decide to move from Rockley. I may just let them put it on their cradles until I decide whether its staying there or not but if I could find a trailer at the right price I would have it.
  20. As I am selling Little Sal complete with trailer I am on the lookout for a replacement trailer to carry my new boat. I am led to believe I would need 2 ton load capacity. I would have thought a twin axle, braked trailer would be required (brakes working may not be so important as it will be in a boat yard, certainly at first anyway). Before I start bidding wars on ebay is there anyone on here that either has one for sale or knows of one for sale? Thanks Graham
  21. I know that some of the comments here have been posted slightly in jest but ...... concerning the legality of razor blades round the electrics (and glass on the top of a wall) Offences (criminal) committed? None, but the householder/boat owner could be sued for damages under the Occupier
  22. A woman in her fifties went to a plastic surgeon for a face lift. The surgeon told her about a new procedure called "The Facelift Knob," where a small knob is placed on the top of a woman's head. It can be turned to tighten up her skin to produce the effect of a brand new face lift. Of course the woman wanted "The Facelift knob." ...Over the course of the years, the woman tightened the facelift knob and the effects were wonderful. The woman remained young looking and vibrant. After fifteen years, the woman returned to the surgeon with two problems. "All of these years, everything has been working just fine. I have turned the facelift knob many times and have been very pleased with the results. But now, I've developed two annoying problems. First, I have these terrible bags under my eyes and the knob won't get rid of them. " The doctor looked at her closely and said, "Those aren't bags, those are your breasts." She said, "Well, I guess there's no point in asking about the goatee."
  23. then you WOULD get sued lofty!
  24. Lets hope the b45t4rds dont hurt themselves while trying to break off the padlock .... i'd hate them to sue you for their injuries!!
  25. Thats where we put the women Matt
