  1. Rob I have progressed from deleting whole threads to only partial deletion, from what I hear you have some way to go to catch me up
  2. Have a look at this article, gives a bit of background http://www.motorboatsmonthly.co.uk/archive/general/501670/sunseeker-through-the-agesDiscussion%20of%20the%20Sunseeker%20Boats%20in%20the%20YBW%20forums Martin
  3. Brian yes they did start in Southbourne as car salesmen then moved into boats so your scenario could be correct Martin
  4. Greenslades can be hit and miss whether they sell you some ice or not. Never had a problem with south coast always happy to supply but do phone first and mention the club Martin
  5. I added a photo to your post but stuffed up a little and may of deleted some words many many apologies if I have About the boat I would agree the topsides look pretty similar to Brian's pics however I can't remember sqeekers ever producing a shiplap hull? I might be wrong... usually am Martin
  6. Welcome David I have updated your forum status to that of club member you can now see all the site ATB Martin
  7. Sounds like a plan Adam
  8. Adam my prop is on a bravo 1 leg do these not fit VP? If they do you are more than welcome to try it
  9. That is good news Brian Martin
  10. your meant to click through and place an order
  11. Gee thanks Adam your so thoughtful
  12. As my above post will be watching the weather for Sunday 24th Martin
  13. Peter I also suffer especially at the beginning of a season but it does get better as the year goes on. I use Stugeron and have found they work for me, I have never been ill when taking these. I take a couple the night before going to get them in my system then one in the morning when I get up and that's it. I never have to top them up during they day and have never been ill when took as described. Some say these make you drowsy but for me theyr'e finne Others will have their preferred remedies it just comes down to trial and error and of course familiarity but whatever happens don't give up trying Hope that helps Martin
  14. Trevor I have Navionics gold on one plotter and platinum on another. After the initial new toy stage you would rarely use the extra bells and whistles that platinum offer. If I were specking again I would be happy with the gold charts and save a few quid. Martin
  15. Good luck Adam hope you achieve as good a result as I did
  16. Matt Paul will need to answer this one as I haven't got a clue, hopefully he will see this Martin
  17. Been there once when the weather was glorious until the tide was full chat then we couldn't go anywhere on the banks and could only fish the fingers, tide died away then flat and fishable again. It certainly is a strange place and at times not for the feint hearted Martin
  18. What a crap reel
  19. That's reely good, what lb do you set the lever drag
  20. I am running 64bit and have no problems viewing vids or pics
  21. Hole shot for me was very noticeably better exactly as described in the wsf thread. The ability to keep on the plane at lower speed without having to keep constantly playing with the throttle is also a boon My prop is stainless steel I never even considered an ally option. Tom at prop sols got the spec almost spot on first time although I might get the prop repitched to 17" as when the boat is fully loaded can only get 4200rpm instead of the 4500rpm. Re pitching by 1" will give us even better hole shot and better cruising in the rough stuff Martin
  22. Steve I hope it all goes well and keeps the slime at bay Martin
  23. Yeh he only asked how much......oooh ahhh ummm twice
