  3. As my above post will be watching the weather for Sunday 24th Martin
  4. Peter I also suffer especially at the beginning of a season but it does get better as the year goes on. I use Stugeron and have found they work for me, I have never been ill when taking these. I take a couple the night before going to get them in my system then one in the morning when I get up and that's it. I never have to top them up during they day and have never been ill when took as described. Some say these make you drowsy but for me theyr'e finne Others will have their preferred remedies it just comes down to trial and error and of course familiarity but whatever happens don't give up trying Hope that helps Martin
  5. Trevor I have Navionics gold on one plotter and platinum on another. After the initial new toy stage you would rarely use the extra bells and whistles that platinum offer. If I were specking again I would be happy with the gold charts and save a few quid. Martin
  6. Good luck Adam hope you achieve as good a result as I did
  7. Matt Paul will need to answer this one as I haven't got a clue, hopefully he will see this Martin
  8. Been there once when the weather was glorious until the tide was full chat then we couldn't go anywhere on the banks and could only fish the fingers, tide died away then flat and fishable again. It certainly is a strange place and at times not for the feint hearted Martin
  9. What a crap reel
  10. That's reely good, what lb do you set the lever drag
  11. I am running 64bit and have no problems viewing vids or pics
  12. Hole shot for me was very noticeably better exactly as described in the wsf thread. The ability to keep on the plane at lower speed without having to keep constantly playing with the throttle is also a boon My prop is stainless steel I never even considered an ally option. Tom at prop sols got the spec almost spot on first time although I might get the prop repitched to 17" as when the boat is fully loaded can only get 4200rpm instead of the 4500rpm. Re pitching by 1" will give us even better hole shot and better cruising in the rough stuff Martin
  13. Steve I hope it all goes well and keeps the slime at bay Martin

  16. Rob more like long haul up that hill
  17. But Terry I don't eat Launce rare steaks are much better
  18. Adam AWOL has a 4 bladed prop. Last prop I was running was a 14.25" dia by 21deg 3 blade we now have a 15.25" by 18deg pitch 4 blade prop The main benefit for me is the ability to cruise at lower speed (yeh yeh go on you lot take the pee ) without falling off the plane so easily. Hole shot is much more aggresive and for me top end is higher though I would say this is because my old prop was carp. I do though suffer from more prop torque so need to use more trim tab or move some kit around. Would I go back to three blades? definately not with this boat. More information on my repropping here: http://www.worldseafishing.com/forums/boat-owning-equipment-maintenance/214044-old-chestnut-prop-selection.html Martin
