  1. James A broader range of species weighed in that made the weigh in more interesting. A Gurnard won, will post results when Paul D sends them through to me. Also waiting for photos from Andy at PSA centre Martin

  3. Bad luck Dave (again) Regards oil clean up, suck up as much as you can with a vacuum type hose and bottle. Use plenty of rags to remove what cant be got at with the vacuum. There are plenty of proprietary cleaner fluids Bilge Ex being one (very good btw). As an inboard boat owner you will soon become used to dirty bilges. I got that fed up with my boat I nicknamed her "the dirty bitch" as it seemed every time I cleaned her out she spat something else in there Martin

  6. Firstly thanks for the pats on the back but I and I'm sure the others are feeling a little sore now so that's enough of that I agree the venue is near perfect certainly not a better one available to us in Poole. The comp could go forward another year. We have been offered the venue and a few sponsors have intimated that they would be up for supporting us again however! we will need some new blood to take on the admin, organising and promoting side of things. Neil Alun and myself more or less let the beast take its own course this year. With a little effort from someone I feel it could grow greatly into one of the best comps around but it would need new helpers each responsible for their own little area of organisation. Spread out this way we could have a good comp without onerous amounts of work that would allow even the organisers to fish it or at least most of it. Have a think guys and we will discuss at the next meeting Martin
