Our day was similar to Charlie's. We set out on the 8:30 bridge and headed out the harbour with no set plans. Decided it was to sloppy to go offshore so headed down towards Southbourne. Passed Charlie off of Boscombe pier and kept going down to double dykes. First drop a plaice we ended up with about 10 but all small. Charlie joined us after a couple of hours but all went quite for an hour or so then like a tap the Gurnard switched on but no more plaice. We went over to the end of the swash for the last hour and had doggies and a smooth hound. Came in for the 4:30 bridge. As the weather had settled down a little we used the fly bridge coming in what a difference in outlook I lke it a lot.

Forecast slightly worse now so will probably only do inshore stuff. Anyone else out?

Dean and I are going out on sunday and have room for one other crew member. Not sure what we will target yet but at least we will be out fishing and the forecast seems ok at N/E 3-4 If interested get in touch in the normal manner, post here pm or phone

Depends how you paid. I think you will find if you paid by credit card you may be able to claim back through them?

After November? (not sure of exact date ) you are allowed to catch bass so I would guess lures would be permitted

Graham that is so disappointing. How can they renege on a done deal? Probably a good omen in as much if they are slap dash before they have sold a boat how would they perform with any warranty issues
