  1. If you missed Country File you can see it at http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b06z9ph6/countryfile-north-devon the fishing bits are in 2 or 3 parts with the first part showing at around 7:30 mins
  2. I was just going to put that up PJ you beat me to it
  3. Just read this properly and note this part: If this is the case then why did George Useless try to claim he had gained a great deal for the uk? from where I am standing it couldn't have been much worse, selective fishing can have nothing with commercials having a party with their increased allowance. Typical politician trying to dress up a victory out of a total sham. You would think that the threat of losing 1 million votes from the recreational sector would focus their minds but they know we have short memories
  4. Happy Birthday Rich, have a great day
  5. Happy Birthday Ian
  6. As I can see nothing yet until bye laws are put in place http://jncc.defra.gov.uk/PDF/MCZ_FisheriesManagementFactsheet.pdf
  7. Happy Birthday Andrew
  8. Looks good Adam
  9. Happy birthday Jon
  10. Jerry I would love to have had you on board but I am all crewed up at the moment. Others maybe looking for crew or as Rob says you could take your new boat (assuming it is here by then), you would not be short on help and advice and could buddy up with one or more other boats going.
  11. Happy birthday both It's all down hill from now on Dave
  12. I have now pinned this thread for ease of organising I now also have 1 crew member so can go yippee
  13. 190 litres per hour at over 90 mph equates to approximately 2 litres per mile which is good for a boat that size but more than that it would be bloomin good fun
  14. That's the dates I was thinking would suit Adam Oli I like your idea of St Peter Port for a change. I have only done Guernsey once before but it was a pleasant experience without the walk up the hill to deal with I would be up for something along those lines
  15. Yep was Gary Ayles Gazza on the forum but he hasn't been a club member for a while now
  16. I am up for it this year but Dean will almost certainly not be able to attend the earlier May dates so I will be looking for 1 or 2 crew. The only week end I can't make is the 22nd May due to Dean getting married, fancy planning your wedding around the usual Alderney dates
  17. Happy Birthday Sandy
  18. Long time no see Gordon, hope you are well and Happy Birthday

  23. Hi Allan we will be on ch6
  24. Yes I am thinking that Tuesday is the best day to go. Assuming all is well I will aim for the 7:30 bridge to take the flood tide over to the island then return on the ebb for the 4:30 bridge in. As always this plan is as fluid as the weather
